we only know what they look like, and make estimated guess. The rebels are supposed to have the strongest air force, so the X-wing should be good. Basically it is what fighter looks the best.

Just look at the screen shots. you can see their fighter, their bomber, and i think you can see the transport on the tour. Anyways, just look at all the images of the Wookiees fighting the imps, you can't miss them.
The Wookies Fighters:
Fighter: Wookie Agr
Bomber: Wookie Blade
Transport: Kettrifee Air Transport

They most certainly ARE in the game!!! Both the TIE Interceptor and the TIE Advanced X-1 WILL be in the game!!! Look at the screenshots for crying out loud! :D
