"So here I am stark naked, locked out of my quarters,
running around the corridors looking for a towel, a rag, anything,
and I turn a corner and bump right into the executive officer.
He has about the same sense of humor as a Wookiee with a rash.
So I throw my best salute and say, 'Major, I regret to report only
partial succes with the Personal Cloaking Device.'"

Only use ICQ, sorry.

Although I might switch to Trillian soon.

Use Trillian. Then you don't have to bother, since you can use AIM, ICQ, MSN, Y! and even IRC with the same client. Thereby, this argument is pretty unnecessary. Oh, and you don't appear in the "yellow pages" or whatever ICQ calls it, so you don't get spammed all the time. I mean, I went from 10 spams a day to one each week.

Oh, and no, I am not emplyed by trillians PR agency. I just think it kicks ass. :D

Yeah, but then you have to stay invisible all the time. Not a good solution if you are online 24/7.

Not really a problem. :)

Heard of letting people that you know see you when you're invisible? :D

NOTE! That was not ment to seem sarcastic, in a nad way that is, if you took it that way.

I used Trillian only once. It wouldnt let me use the voice conversation for MSN so I closed it and havent opened it since.
It definitly looked promising but I couldnt live with out my voice conversations.
So Ill stay MSN all the way unless somebody saw something I missed.

MSN.

The first chat-program i have found to be easy to use.
And it's a direct link-up to my Hotmail, which never hurts.

Not only can you log on multiple chat progs, but you can also be looged on ultiple times.

This way my normal ego and alter ego (A jedi/slicer) can chat at thesame time ;)

MSN... it looks better, it doesn't have that annoying "bling!" sound, and... that's about all that seperates the two, IMHO.

Yup. Especially since I can use it for IRCing when I don't bother to start another IRC program. I dumped mICQ pretty much at the same moment as I found Trillian :)
