You know the grate that falls away in the ventilation shafts, sending you falling to the floor and facing a wave of droids (the shield generator section follows)? If you can make the jump over the grate, you will be rewarded with a thermal detonator.

Sorry if you all knew this, but I've never done this before; I thought you couldn't.

<font face="BernardMod BT"><font color="green1">Yeah. For some reason that jump's easier on the PSX version.

I got there by accident on the first time I played. The grate fell out under my feet and I thought I was going to die and I managed to jump across and found. http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/smile.gif) http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/smile.gif) http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/smile.gif) http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/smile.gif)

How many detonators do you find total on the first level? We had accidentally stumbled on a second one and couldn't figure out where we got it, but the two are all we've found.

<font face="BernardMod BT"><font color="green1">Three.

There's the one at the begining, the one you just found, and the one by those boxes nears those big robots; STAPs, STABs, STAGs, FRAGs, FROGs, DOGGs, RABID HYENAs, whatever they're called.

There's ten in the whole game (PC) I think there's an extra one in the PSX version, but I don't remember where it was. I think I saw it on the Gardens of Theed level somewhere, just floating around.

I managed to jump the shaft after the Droidekas attacked (level 1). I got stuck in a tilted gravity position, 'tapdancing' until I died.

In one attempt, I fell down the shaft and Qui-Gon ended up dead. What happened to him? How could I have saved him?

He died on the second from last level, you know you have to fall down the broken bridge and go through that door to the next level?
I waited and looked for more weapons to grab, but I guess time makes fools of us all. There are other rumors if you spend too much time on the generator rings, a message comes up with 'Qui-Gon has been killed'

To master quigon
Those things you were talking about were Droid Fighter(Anyone who saw TPM knows that).

And does anyone know if you can make the jump on that first platform?
I think there is an invisible wall there...

<font face="BernardMod BT"><font color="green1">No I wouldn't because honestly I don't care. If that's it's name, fine. Most of the vehicals did have a more technical name. Among them are ATT, MTT, STAP.

ATTs are Tanks
MTTs are Troop Transports
STAP are a small ridding vehicle for Battle Droids.
Droid Fighters are an automated Starfighter
Landing Ships are a transport for other transports and large land vehicles.

Any I missed?
