Why si Yoda always pictured as not being strong?
I reckon he could of beaten Darth Maul hands down and still had time to make it back to the council for tea. Forget Obi Wan and Mace Windu Yoda is the real hero as he is the only one who is not killed by a Dark Lord so Ha Ha!

Yeah... come to think of it, Anikin was kind of a weak Jedi. How come Qui-Gon did not sense all the evil in him about to burst?

Wierd isn't it? I thought the whole outcome of the saga was because of the droids, you know, delivering the message and such. But now it was because of a certain Qui-Gon Jinn making Obi Wan train the boy into a dark Sith...
...and that is what created all the suffering in the Classic Trilogy. http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/eek.gif)

He probabley did but was to engrossed in the fact that he was the chosen one that he didnt sense it. Any way it seems the only one who sensed the evil was Yoda and so as I say Yoda is the best Jedi and no one could beat him.

Not yet. That’s why George Lucas went to such trouble to show this goofy little kid that says things like “Wizard,” and “Yipee.” Also, bear witness to Qui-Gon’s words: “His future is uncertain, he’s not dangerous.” Therefore, his turn to the dark side is mainly attributable to the execution of his training. That’s why old Obi-Wan blames himself in RotJ. And although Yoda does oppose his training, he would never have relented had he sensed actual evil in him. “Clouded this boy’s future is.” Remember?

On a related note, Anakin is supposed to be the most powerful Jedi that ever lived. Luke is supposed to be a close second.

Not to sound mean or anything, Master Qui-Gon but I notice you have this huge signature, that seems to just keep getting bigger and bigger each day.

Can't you scale it back a bit so we don't always have to keep scrolling around to read the topics you post in?

With my browser and screen resolution it doesn’t even fill up the table and the only scrolling is vertical. In terms of file size it’s actually quite small.

What browser and screen resolution are you using?

That's what annoyed me the most. A nine/ten year old shouting a really-fake sounding 'Yipee!' and 'WIzards!'. Another thing, I think the movie might have been a little better if they gave Anakin sone new clothes, instead of going around the Battle of Naboo in his slave costume... Oh! Cockameme Sunofa Stupis Aresgg! http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/mad.gif)

Agreed, Jake Lloyd wasn't a very convincing actor, but saying things like 'Yippee!' is what little kids do. Besides, he lives on a planet furthest away from the bright centre of the galaxy, so style probably hasn't made its way there yet ;)

And where was Anakin to get some more clothes from? Queen Amidala had lots of dresses, but Anakin would look kinda fruity in one of those. And Yoda said he could not be trained as a Jedi, so he wouldn't have dished out some cash for a little slave boy. Seriously, that's like asking why Jar Jar didn't dress up in a tux for the final celebration.
