This post is in regards to the Attention all Admins thread....
sorry I was tired when i posted.

Does it kill the dedicated or the actual server itself? I have a Win2k server....just wondering cause my server rebooted today for no reason. Checked the system logs and there was nothing unusual. Thanks for the info.;)

it doesn't kill the server thread per se. But it does effectively shut it down, but it does not kill the process. At least not on my linux box. I would imagine even the win server probably doesn't shutdown when someone tries to crash it.
