Is there a way to run jk2ded off a virtual server

I suppose that depends on the exact setup of the virtual server. If it's setup just as a web-hosting service, I'm not sure it will work. If it's a more complete package, it could work. Have you actually tried it and gotten an error? If so, let's see it. On another note, make sure you check your hosting agreement and make sure you're not violating your terms of service if you host a server.

If you have a shell and they aren't blocking jkII's port(s), then you should be able to. shrug.
