I've used this 'see-thru' grate shader for the middle of a catwalk. But when I spawn ontop of it.... I fall through it. How can I fix this?

I was looking at this one tutorial, and towards the end he talks about using a 'simple mesh' instead of a brush to apply the texture to, I have no idea what he means by that. Here is URL to the tutorial

Can someone help me with this?

Simple. =)

Stick a clip brush over it.

There should be a "system" or something texture directory.. Load that, and select the one that has "clip" written all over it.

Put that over the grate, and it'll keep you from falling through.

And just so you know, you can put a clip brush on anything that isn't solid, including models.
