Hey, to all you SW gamers. If you're at all like me, you were beyond dissapointed when LEC announced that Obi-Wan was canceled for PC and will only be on console somtime in the future.
I don't know what good it will do, but you can petition for them to bring it back to PC at petitiononline.com/ob1pc

Actually it may yet do some good, but that's not saying that an online petition will really bring the game back to the PC.. it just makes LEC aware of the demand for such a product and the negative feelings about their decision (some more extreme than others of course).
So some 7,000+ gamers agreed with the above sentiment.

Well paul, ol' buddy ol' pal I agree with you on this one. I think LEC did do us a favour, even though OB1 looked like it rocked! But a game can change alot in the process of it's creation...
Anyways, I'm confident LEC has a few good games to offer us...

And it's on the PC! The game is actually 3 megs in size... But I have the CD with Making on it... It's pretty kewl... Kill 10-15 mins here and there

I think the next person to say that LEC betrayed them by saving us from Obi-wan is going up on a cross.
It would be nice if everyone saved their opinions until Obi-Wan is actually released onto console and have heard from people who played it. WE KNOW NOTHING YET FOR SURE.

LEC's decision was also too hard to me first, but after signing that "bring Obi-Wan back to the PC" petition three times in a row and making my own petition (
www.petitiononline.com/JPBpc/petition.html), I explained to myself that maybe LEC though Obi-Wan would have been too much like the original Jedi Knight and MotS were and that it wouldn't have bring anything new to it's genre; for example that glyph system that people were so excited, didn't even work so well that developers first realized it.(Then it's actually logical from LEC's point of wiev to move it to some console where they don't even have JK/MotS.) Well, quite recently LEC promised to announce something big(and I'm sure it wasn't Battle for Naboo) coming to PC soon, and then there was this survey, where they asked about "Obi-Wan 3D shooter"... Hmmm... Am I just hallucinating or are they reconsidering they earlier decision?

Really. Come on, get OVER this. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We don't "hang" people at RS.net for expressing their personal opinions.
And by the way, I too was looking forward to Obi-Wan. As a rule, PC games are ALWAYS superior to their console counterparts, because of patches, hacks, utilities, editors, trainers, upgrades...the list goes on.
And no one, not even you Paul, has any clue how Obi-Wan would really have been like. If it really does suck when released, then you can scold people.
