Lifehouse- you're all I want.
Blondie - Hanging on the Telephone
...What? Blondie rocks :p
:D
System of a Down - Chop Suey
"...Trust... in... my... self-righteous suicide... Why... cry... when angels deserve to die..."
This song would make a great Eva music vid :p
Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal
Blind Guardian-Bard's song (The Hobbit)
"Blind in the dark dungeon's night
Then darkness comes from the northern side
And Thorin clears his mind"
really tight song! check em out!
This isn't music, but right now I'm listening to 'Coast to Coast AM' on the radio. It's a wonderful show that explores the paranormal and new age spirituality with guests and call-ins. You get to hear a lot of honest-to-goodness, talking to Jesus on the telephone whack-o's on a regular basis, interspersed with the occasion real mystic, psychic or ghost hunter. Very entertaining.
:) Anyone else listen to 'Coast to Coast AM?'
Vive la resistance.
Staind- Raining in my head
Angel One - Into Your Eyes (DJ Dean vs. DJ Delay remix)
Oh yeah techno all the way baby! Sometimes I do some glowsticking to it.
Juno Reactor--Mona Lisa Overdrive
From the Matrix Reloaded Soundtrack
Now what the sweet and holy eternal **** could glowsticking refer to?
It's happened. :D They completely lost me, at long last. *(Looks at his watch.)* Hmmm. 35.
;)

Gee Lynk, that's swell.
Next time you really feel like sharing something like that,.. don't.
Now excuse me,.. I have to go stick my head in the microwave in a vain attempt to try to erase the trauma you have caused to my psyche with that mental image.
:p
"Reasons For Waiting" - Jethro Tull

The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time - Zelda's Lullaby - Orchestrated
Actually, there's a couple of songs (and fem singers) that have often have this effect on me.
Sample list:
"My Sensual Mind" - Anggun
"Gold Dust Woman" - Stevie Nicks
"Alone" and "These Dreams" - Heart
"Wrapp" - Republica
"Let Me Touch You For A While" - Alison Krauss
"Push It" - Garbage
Right now:
"Die Hard The Hunter" - Def Leppard
songs are one things, a girlfriend wanting you to do kinky things to them is another...
Pearl Jam - Even Flow
Voodoo and Serano - Blood is Pumpin'
More techno. Sorry, I forgot that most people don't know what glowsticking is. You probably don't really care what it is, but you can find out at glowsticking.com
Would it by any chance involve making patterns by waving glowsticks to the music?
Jay-Z f. Freeway- 8 Miles and Runnin'
Ah. :D Thanks.
Right now I'm listening To 'Coast to Coast AM' again. I'll pop in later and talk about their featured guest...
:smirk2:
System of a Down - Innervision
:p funny thing is I don't even like System of a Down ahahaha, I've only kept 4 songs out of about 20 I dloaded...
Aw, screw it. I'm going to bed.
:D
So right now I guess I'm listening to crickets...
Nobuo Uematsu - The Deceased Laugh
Creed- Stand here with me
MindCircus Way Out West remix.
Ghost in the Shell - Reincarnation
so damn kewl... so damn ****in kewl...
Now I'm listening to 'Echoes,' a mellow new age space music type show on National Public Radio. The dude hasn't said what the song is called, but it's a gentle Celtic evening melody that recalls the warm heath and sea breeze of sunset time in the highlands. Say, do I hear sheep?
:)
VA Himmerich Hardtrance Volume 1 2003
btw, check out my radio station, click sig in my link, and then 'tune in' it'll load my station in winamp and start streaming whatever I have playing (which is 17 hours of trance)
I followed your instructions and heard absolutely nothing. I like it--very zen. ;) I can see how it would eventually lead to a trance state of mind.

Go Jersey
Go to Sleep- DMX, Eminem, Obie Trice
Rush - 2112
An overblown theatrical rock opera about a sci-fi distopian ultra-repressive society inspired by Ayn Rand, coupled with Geddy Lee's screeching male falsetto back when it could really cause serious physiological and pyscological damage and cause every canine life-form in an 8-block radius to howl in sympathetic pain.
What's not to love? :D
"... Hold the Red-Star proudly high in hand!"
"Attention all planets of the Solar Federation: We have assumed control."
:joy:
I love 2112! Sometimes I take my double-disc Rush CD to work with me (greatest hits--a study in rock and roll screeching) and make the sniveling punks I work with listen to it. If they complain, I stop working, fix them with a stare and say:
'Rush is the most technically perfect rock band in the world, you ignorant little snippet. You should get down on the ground and quiver in futile hope for Geddy Lee's forgiveness for your crass reaction to the divine gift to man his edgey vocal work represents.'
Then I put in Dead Kennedys. :D
I'm currently listening to the Tweenies singing 'I like peace, I like quiet'. After you hear it for the ten thousenth time, it's rather good.
ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!
Try listening to Krishna Das' CD Pilgrim Heart. The 'Mahamantra Meltdown' is sixteen and a half minutes of the Hare Krishna mantra.
;) (Actually, it's one of my favorites. You have to have a sense of humor at first, but the repetitiveness goes away surprisingly quickly.)
After listening to the Hare Krishna mantra about a thousand times, I came up with the Texas Cowboy mantra:
Howdy pickup, howdy pickup,
Pickup pickup, howdy howdy...
Howdy mama, howdy mama,
Mama mama, howdy howdy.
:D
Journey - "Wheel in the Sky"
Michael Jackson - Billie Jean
I don't give a crap what anyone says about Jacko, this song is my all time favourite and always will be.
One Winged Angel, Kingdom Hearts.....whoa.....you were right kookiee/scar!!!!! :D
Cowboy Bebop - Call Me Call Me
I made a Bebop Wallpaper (
http://lexx1.users.btopenworld.com/callmecallme.jpg) yesterday, and this song is played during that scene. It's the saddest and my favourite scene. I just love it.
Go To Sleep- DMX, Eminem, Obie Trice.
I really, really, like this song.
Jethro Tull - "Farm On The Freeway"
Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower
'Esma Yalli' by Hakim.
Nice jiggety Egyptian street shabi. Makes me feel like throwing on a turban, jumping on my Arabian horse and galloping madly after the sunset with my pistol-grip Turkish sword waving madly in the air, yelling, 'You can run, but I'll be waiting for you in the morning, you swollen yellow bastard!'
:dozey: What?
Uhhhh, praise Allah?
*runs*
"Sun And Steel" - Iron Maiden
Next:
"St. Teresa" - Joan Osborne
Loverboy - The Kid Is Hot Tonight
