10th. Question:
What happened with Darth Vader's body after he died??
 Com Raven

Luke burned it on a funeral pyre on endor....
 Rogue15
04-13-2002, 6:12 PM
#54
It vanished like Obiwan's body did.
 MikeC

#55
There's some dispute to that answer. Some say that Vader's body disappeared like Yoda and OB1 and that Luke was just burning his armor on Endor. But metal armor doesn't burn now does it? I'm of the school that Luke burned Vader's body on endor and that it didn't disappear. Especially in light of Qui-Gon not disappearing in EP1. Supposedly this is something we will find out more about in later movies.

So I guess my answer is Luke burned his body.

Nope - I'm changing my answer. Vader's body disappeared. Here's the official word from starwars.com

He then died, his body disappearing into the light side of the Force. Luke burned the dark armor that had encased Anakin's crippled body in a quiet funeral pyre on the forest moon of Endor that night.

It disappeared, but we never saw it. That was just his armor and suit Luke was burning.

And, DAMN IT MIKE, YOU DID IT AGAIN!!! lol :D

Now it's gonna seem as I've copied your post again. :D

Anyway, it will be explained in the later movies, maybe even as soon as the next one (EpII).

And Mike? You can't answer twice, Wraith has said so. :D
YAY, I guess I'll get the 2 pointers. :D

He said you can't answer twice, but he didn't say you can't change your answer. Heck I could just hit that little edit button and make my first answer disappear all together.

BTW - Damn it Jan quit copying my posts! :p

5 Imperial speeder bikes and 40 troops. It can also instead hold 2 partially disasembled AT-STs.

Woops - I just noticed a scoring problem. You gave Rogue15 just 3 points instead of 5 for his last answer.

Like Mike said, 5 speederbikes and 40 troops, or 2 AT-ST walkers.

How many fighters returned at the end of the battle of Yavin, and wich ones, according to the special edition.
 Rogue15
04-17-2002, 12:18 PM

3.

2 x-wings and 1 y-wing.

Luke, Wedge, and Keyan Farlander.

And that's not including the milennium falcon, which is NOT a fighter, btw.

The ones we saw was 2 X-Wings and 1 Y-Wing. Falcon not included. lol :)

But a few others may also have survived.

Luke and Wedge flew the X-Wings. However, who flew the Y-Wing I'm in doubt. It apparently was a guy named Dutch or something. Keylan Farlander was anothere surviving pilot introduced in the computer game X-Wing.

Luke, Wedge, a Y-wing and Solo in the Falcon which isn't really a fighter.

Not Porkins or Darklighter though.

Check those post times boys. Wraith8 is in Europe so he gets up hours before us, posts an update with a question. Then I get up in the east and post my answer while you guys are still in la-la land. I've got the advantage. :)
