There is a new editor that I just finished
making, I'll have the link up later this month,
along with more screens, I'll have more details
in a couple of days, still working out the bugs,
but It's a pretty close interface to Jed, so you
don't have to learn the commands, and where
everything is again, so I'll have my editor
done for you just before the release, any
questions email me @s
WAR_cyPHer_ (mecj85@hotmail.com)
Thanks

Will there be an official website for this program? I'd like to stay up to date and start developing ASAP.

Now thats a good trick !
How does one go about designing an editor when you don`t know whats in the files?
Making the GUI first is backwards to how an editor is made.
Most people write all of the underlying code to handle the files ,object/memory management etc first.

Some of those icons look suspiciously similar to JED's.. and since JO uses brush editing, and not sector editing, I fail to see how your editor (if it is indeed more than a cheap VB trick) could be useful at all..

You *should* be able to make basic maps with the Q3 or Ef Radient easily, some shadders and stuff might not work tho. So i'd stick with Radient.
