same here...I liked all the sw movies, tpm is one of my favorites... since i can stand Jar Jar Binks' clumsiness.

Unlike the 2 chickens(;)) I'll voice an opinion. I think it'll be better than Ep 1 because the storyline and action will have picked up.

I think (well, may be more hope than think) that it will be better. The script for TPM was weak and Jar Jar managed to ruin the rest. It did have some great fight scenes though.

I'm also in the "Better than TPM" camp.

AotC is supposed to be a love story, and I'm one of the few guys who likes love stories.

Lucas wouldn't kill off a character just because he was unpopular. Jar Jar is no different.

(Hope I didn't spoil you, but that was a baseless comment :p)

This is Lucas's big chance to restore my faith in his film franchise... if it's better than Episode I, at least.. I'll be happy.

Not getting my hopes up too high... the new trailer makes the movie look cool. Some cheesy dialouge here and there, but the action looks sweet.

As long as it isn't another "Titanic" or "Pearl Harbor" it should be decent.

Here's hopin'!

Bassless? How so?

My personal opinion is that Jar Jar is the worst thing since Barney the Dinosaur. His gruesome death could only help the movie, i.e. he wouldn't be in it to screw it up.

Seems like a good basis to me.:p
