Nahhh. Paint it black, with chrome silver fittings...and a flaming red and orange pirate skull on the stabilizer fin. Add 'howlers' on the front to produce stuka-like screaming in the dive run, and we'll be talking about a spacefighter dressed for maximum intimidation.
But, if intimidation isn't on the day's duty roster, we can always go with different variations.
Pale green and pastel pink for the girlie pilots.
Mother of pearl with gold and alabaster, for the classy jet-setter.
Space camoflauge: black with mirrored spots.
Or howzabout the Warner Brothers edition: pastel blue and silver with decals of all your favorite Looney Tunes stars!
And when we're going up against soft outposts, we can paint the ships bright day-glo orange just to show them that we aren't afraid.
