isnt it a bit early to be recruiting......why dont you start for the sequel to JK2.....its the same thing :)
not really. its the same thign that happened with q2 ----> q3:a, and tribes -----> tribes 2.
old clans are gettign ready for the sequel. old members may even make new clans in preparation.
being one of the first jk2 clans would be something to look back on, and everyone will know u by it.... :)
Heh, but unlike any of those other games most JK clans last about 2 weeks lol, should be starting clans when the game has gameplay features and stuff are anounced at the earliest :rolleyes:
No, GonkH8er has a point. To establish a clan now and have it last successfully untill JK2 would be quite an achievement (difficult, yes). But everyone would know you for it. You'd be renowned! Famous throughout JK2! Well at least you'd hope... :rolleyes:
it wouldnt be THAT difficult..... just find a few people who are as interested in jk2 as you, and keep the member count fairly small

Bahh, I started one of the first JK clans back in December 1997 - were around until June 2000 and there wad a big breakup.
I'm not gonna name, names becuase I have since started using a new player name (this one) and don't wanna be associated with that group anymore.
Whats the moral? Just becuase your one of the first doesn't matter, a few years down the road no one will care - I found this out the hard way.

No one has ever heard of Sabers Lightside and we've been around since the demo of jk. Back when all you could do was play Bespin Mining Station for multiplayer.
i remember seeing sl people around. not any paricular names, but the tag definetely rings a bell

Yeah, mines were fun, but I preferred using the Conc, in those confined spaces, the dmg was awesome! :D

I helped make eVe to be a jk2 clan but I know a lot(most) of our members mainly play for jk..

heh guns clans sucked in JK, no point in Guns only in a jedi game, so Mafia, SWAT, DSbr,WD, will have no place in JKII because LEC said that sabering will be the core of the game, which mean not many guns.
Jordus, please don't talk about things you know nothing about. WD and DSbr are not guns clans, we are Full force clans. We play FF Guns AND sabers. I myself am a FF saberist.

Yeah, tons of people would love to be able to say they have the "Oldest/Longest Running clan in ____ community" so I wouldn't be suprised at all if they were already recruiting.
But then, lot's can happen between now and then. I wonder how many Obi-Wan clans we had until it was announced as an Xbox (and non-multiplayer) title? ; p

kurgan- i think that the number of clans for obiwan was rather small. id say it was mainly just clans that said they would expand into obiwan, and not specific obiwan clans.
im sure its probably very much the same with this, but i'd say therell be a lot of new clans that will be jk2 specific.
its probably got a lot to do with jk2 haveing the 'jk' sequel tag, whereas obiwan was just..... what was the wording? in the footsteps of jk or something. i dunno. something like that.
