Hey hey.

Creating a JA SP mod. I've been modding for 13 years for various games, mostly with DF, JK, MotS, and STV:EF and now JA. I've been wanting to do a Death Star map for years, and just got around to doing it. Thought I'd stop in and show some screens!

This is the pre-special edition version of the hangar. I may change it to the SE version, after deciding that it would look more interesting.

I use GTKradiant 1.5, Milkshape, Paint Shop Pro, and Photoshop. I use set blueprints and blu-ray screencaps for reference.

wou !!! gtkradiant 1.5 and milkshape you are lucky when l download milkshape my eset antivurus shows that is a virus and great job with the the map truly great job indeed!!!!!!

Milkshape is pretty reasonable in price. You should probably try to scrape up 35 bucks to register it if your going to use it. It does come with a 30 day free trial.

Added some hologram models, which will be turned on an off by a switch. Gotta add little interactive things like that to increase the immersion.

Yes, I know. I'm torn between ultimately using the Special Edition hangar or the original hangar. The SE hangar had RotJ style panels on the right wall, and had a different light panels in the pit. Once I decide which one I'm going to use, I'll go back and add the light panels in the pit.

Tackling the Overbridge / War Room now. Since this set was literally just two walls, a screen, and two duty posts, I'm going to have to use my imagination for the rest of the room. I suspect there would be control panels and various other screens around.

Your maps look fantastic. I've been working on a TIE hangar bay for a fighting game mod I'm making, but the detail in yours looks great. Keep it up!
