This mod looks awesome! I have an idea for a weapon: dual pistols! That would be awesome!
Yeah, a couple people have tried that before. Problem is, there's no firing animation for the left arm...
i alredy made dual weapons! but they're still in development area! (right expression? :confused:)
but if they'll be fixed, what shouldn't be so difficult, they'll be in RCII!
and the dc-16...forget it! i used an WESTAR M11 rifle! looks a bit like the WESTAR M5 from the acr trooper mod! but in my eyes it looks better! (weapon with attachments!)
oh, and: 3rd person is in progress! when it is finished, you can switch between 3rd and 1st person like in battelfront! (JUST PLANS! but possible)
Cool. Will the 3rd person have animations? And how would you aim? Would it be like battlefront, [kind of] overhead?
Yeah, that's the right expression Cyro :) And you may want to use periods instead of exclamation points, if you put exclamation points all the time it seems like you're constantly excited ;)

From playing RC a lot, there most likely will be animations for 3rd person. The extent of them, however, is questionable. If you've ever used 3rd person in campaign or multiplayer you'll notice that it doesn't move your arms when you perform a melee attack, etc.

well darth vada, there will be jumping animations! but the only problem so far is to enable the hud after using the code "freecamera 1"! i've moved the player to the left, so it looks loke in mass effect, or in bfII after zooming!
Could you use the hud0 and hud1 cheats to solve that issue of enabling the hud somehow?

Will you be able to sprint? Because that was one of the best additions in battlefront.
Actually, you already are sprinting :p Except it's soo incredibly slow, no one notices. If you look in the controls you'll see there's a walk option button.
i thought about a sprint option! but then i'd need new sprint hud arm anims! if anybody here can make ones like COD6 sprint and get it into RC it would be great!
I know Hockey found a way to make your character move faster..maybe you could use that, but only for a set amount of time.

mod makes good progress! but theres still much to do! final weapon set is not finished yet! i dont know! DC-15a, WESTAR M11, DC-16 or the smaller DC-15a rifles from the republic commando cinematic trailer?

yea, the groundspeed thing is an easy way to increase the speed. maybe you could assiign a key to increase speed?
Is it possible to get a slow-motion effect by lowering everything's speed? where is the groundspeed option anyways?
for this i'd need a new trigger! but slo motion is just cool if the hud arms are perfect made like in crysis and the graphic is good!
You can make it with the comand slomo .3 (or an other number)

Yup. It's under your properties in unrealed.
Well then Delta RC-2235 "Cyro" should use it in the mod.
Each weapon in properties has whats termed a PLAYERSPEED MODIFIER you can alter you can also alter the GROUNDSPEED of the players.

1. there will be cinematic cutscenes (with special effects)
2. the new ego weapons have finished now! Westar M5 (Modified) and DC-17 pistol (captain rex) aaand: PLX Rocket Launcher!
3. now you can sprint! i made a sprint function and i found someone to make sprint anims COD6 Style! by the way...
4. there will be new hud arms anims and clone anims!
5. we added some new models and will replace the advanced spider walker with the original from the movies!

Ok i've tried the beta version and here is my experience:
I think it is great an introduction with the trainning.
Its exactly like in the clone wars 3D series. GREAT!!
But i only can play that first "map". After i get to the top and get the flag
it takes me to a room with 4 clones and there i can do nothing. maybe it is
because is a beta and the first map is all i have, but just in case it is not all...
But i can go through the walls.
Oh, if you are killed in the first part, and you call one of the others to
get bacta to you, the game crashes.
Also the squad doesnt go forward too well, they stay in the middle three of the four times i played.
Last thing, the weapon used doesnt have a zoom, i mean you can click right button and you "have zoom" but the gunsight is black or yellow, but you cant see through it.
I hope this help you to improve, but in anycase thank you very much for this mod of this incredible game!! im looking forward for a complete version of this mod :thmbup1:

well...this is where the demo ends ;) and the weapons...they are still a bit buggy! but i keep working? and maybe i'll upload a fixed demo ;)
Yes i experienced all same as menehir talked of. But nevertheless not bad.
But to be honest i find the HUD not so good . the original or even the carbonite HUD is better . the health bar restricts the vision. But the weapons work good.
Myself ive noticed mod weapons seem to work good in SP but in MP theyre buggy.
I think the answer for MP is to make the dc15 pistol the default 0 wep u spawn with and your mod weapon the secondary wep then when u switch wep the hud arms work good.

Erm, just wanted to ask, so all the VO's writing menue ect will be in english. What about Voice Overs though, as ive just noted. May of missed it but will all the speech be in english. If not...:(
