Does anyone know why the "offhand" blasters sit back farther in the hand?

Is there some way to fix this, or are we stuck with the quirk?

Recently I've been trying to learn to model and have come across this too. I think it's just how it is which sucks, but whatever. Turns out it always did this but I just never payed enough attention to it I guess. Happens with swords too:

Notice how the off-hand sword is in the middle of the fingers... how lame!

I was afraid of that. Drat.

Nice looking sword, by the way.

Yeah all the hand helpers are bugged pretty much. In my experience with sabers, the bugged helpers are reversed between males and females (i.e. if the left hand helper in males is screwed, the right hand helper in females is screwed for the same set of armour).
