Hi, I'm new to this stuff and I recently downloaded a TON of different mods for TSL. I thought I merged the different 2DA files from the various mods correctly, but now all my Jal Shey and Zeison Shay armors and even most robes have been changed to look like the models in one of RedHawke's mods (I think...) -basically all these items now have an armor plate looking upper torso and MC Hammer-style pants (not kidding!lol).

I now know I should have checked the effects that each individual mod had one at a time instead of trying to add them all at once...but is there a way for me to extract the affected files with KT and RESTORE the original appearances in my game? Or am I stuck having to empty my override and basically start all over (I really don't want to do that...)

Any advice would be appreciated!

I would just take out all of the ones that have affects on robes first, anything to do with them and add those back in one at a time to see the affect. Once you find the one that makes the robes different, leave that one out.

If this doesn't work you might very well have to reinstall all of the mods again.

If you really want to you're going to have to break out kTool and explore your new Appearance.2da (At least, I think that's which one it'll have to be, could be items). Then you're going to have to explore all the .2da's that came with the mods you've downloaded and manually merge those and then edit your .uti's as appropriate.... If you ask me, the easiest way seems to be starting over and following the process I described above.... :\
