Hello there. I hope a helpful soul around here could help clear up some questions I have about editing dialog already in game in TSL.

I'm rather familiar with tweaking certain bits of dialog in KOTOR 1 but I'm competely lost on how to do so in TSL. I can't seem to find a tutorial about this either.

The method I use in editing dialog in KOTOR 1 is with KOTOR Tool. This would be the process I normally would use for editing dialog for a module in Dantooine:

Kotor 1 > RIMs > Modules > danm13_s.rim > Dialog > dan13_belaya.dlg

Double click 'dan13_belaya' and the Conversation Editor pops up. I can edit it.
However for TSL, the Kotor Tool does not display the dialog for the module.

Kotor 2 > RIMs > Modules > 001EBO_s.rim > ?? (no 'Dialog' option)

I know that you can access some bits of dialog by using this method-

Kotor 2 > BIFs > dialogs.bif

but that only gives me about 30 different .dlg files. I know there are many, many more dialogs than that.

Where are the rest of the dialogs? How can I edit them individually without editing the entire dialog.tlk file every time? Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that the dlg editor for TSL in Kotor Tool doesn't work.

Download this, and it should help.

Some dialogues are stored within the module files themselves, and will be listed under the name of the module(if you have that option enabled) in the RIMS section.

In TSL the dialog is under ERFs-Modules. It confuses me why, but that is where they are are.

JuniorModder, the Dialog Editor seems to work for me. Go figure.

Thank you, Canderis and Rtas Vadum! That is a huge help. :)
