"BLEEP! INTRUDER! VOICE NOT RECOGNIZED! KNOCK OUT SHOCKERS ACTIVE!"
Ky'ram's ship's thrusters suddenly turns off. The ship is then filled with electricity, shocking Vren into a coma. The ship then sends seeker drones to find Ky'ram. Jodr is caught by surprise and is knocked out by a strong concussion blast.
Ky'ram smiles. It ain't that easy to get me. He opens comms with his ship. "Tracinya, Voice Code Override RHDE-1212623447. Now get that di'kut out of my seat." "Yes, Master."
Ky'ram hears foot steps behind him. He kicks Jodr's blaster into his hand and prepairs for a fight.
Mird landed the ship without incident, but heard sparking noises coming from the hull breach and saw what looked like another Mandalorian searching around the docks.
"I'm going to kill the next kriffing bounty hunter that touches me."
Mird went to see how Jodr was doing with the captive, but saw the former struggling to his feat with a blaster in hand, and the latter watching him with his back to Mird.
Mird'ika charged up the electro-battery in his gauntlet, and knocked out the Neo-Crusader with a blow to the back of the neck as he started to turn around.
"Lets tie him up before he tries anything else. "Jodr suggested, and Mird helped tie him up with firbercord and locked him in an energy cell.
"You check on Vren, "Mird'ika told Jodr, "I need to go check something."
"I know who you are." Ky'ram says the the tall Mandalorian's retreating back. "I thought you had died. You were gone for so long. Even Mandalore thought you were dead. Your armour resembles his so much, I had almost mistaken you for him. Mird'ika."
Mird'ika was shocked when the bounty hunter said his name.
"How do you know my-"
Now he recognized...
"Ky'ram? I thought you were killed in the civil war after the death of Canderous!"
...
Ky'ram shrugs. "The best assassin knows when to dissapear. Now, who are your companions? I haven't seen them before. Oh, and your friend should be on the floor right outside my ship's cockpit. In a coma. But don't worry, he'll wake up soon enough."
"Assassin huh? "Mird said, "I never thought that you would sink that low. Your the one who taught me the most about the Mandalorian honor system."
Mird'ika stepped towards the cell.
"My companions are both Mandalorians. The one unconscious in your ship is Vren, the new Mand'alor. He's trying to restore the Mando'ade at the request of Canderous himself."
Mird looked away for a moment.
"Why don't you join us?"
...
"Sure. Oh, and by the way," He holds up fibercord, broken. "You need stuncuffs. It was way to easy to break." Ky'ram stands up. He whispers to Mird'ika: "Te Ani'la Mand'alor needed an assassin, and I was the best choice."
"Well what do you say to joining us?" I'm sure Vren would forgive you eventually. If you help me patch the ship."
Mird thought for a moment.
"And by the way... Who hired you?"
"Vorreesh the Hutt's brother, Yorka. He wanted Voreesh's slaves recovered. I don't really need the creds, I got enough already. I just wanted something to do. Although... If you lend me all the ex-slaves, I could take them to Yorka, collect the Bounty, kill Yorka, take all the creds he has, then go collect the Bounty on Yorka over on Ryloth. Yorka is famous for having the most Twi'lek slaves. He steals them directly from Ryloth. The Twi'eks want revenge."
Hmmm... I'll have to ask Vren about that. He's grown attached to those girls, and he probably hates the osik out of your guts."
Mird turned to leave.
"I trust you'll stay out of trouble until I can ask him?"
...
"Yeah, whatever. Hey, are you gonna let me out of this cell? Or am I?"
"You'd better stay in there until Vren wakes up. It'll earn you some points for good behavior."
And with that, Mird'ika went to help Jodr with Vren.
"Good behavior my shebs. I guess that Mandalorian has lost it's meaning."
Ky'ram then prys a panel on the back of the cell off, fiddles with a few wires, and shuts off the energy cage. Ky'ram walks over to his helmet, picks it up, puts it on, leans against the wall, and checks on his ship. "Tracinya, don't attack the people that are coming to get their friend, one is someone from my past." "Master?" "I said don't."
((Whoa there RC, lets not go all invincible on people. lol force cages dont have a back thats accessible to the prisoner, btw. xD))
Vren heard a sparking noise behind him as the security systems activated in the small fighter.
Oops. Sorry pal, but you just missed me.
Jodr and Mird came running down the ramp and saw him standing there totally unharmed.
"Dont worry, I was outside the ship before the security enabled."
It looks like we have a visitor. Another Mando'ade, if Im not mistaken.
"Gir'rak! Stop skulking in the shadows and meet me like the Mando'ade you are!"
((Meh. I didn't see that post. and yes they do.))
((Now now payback, be good:xp:))
Mird looked in the direction the Vren spoke and saw a black and red armored Mandalorian walk onto the ship. He also heard some sparking noises coming from the cargo hold...
"I'll be right back." He told the group.
He walked into the cargo hold and Ky'ram was leaning against the wall with the smug look that was even visible through his helmet.
"Tracinya! How could you lie to me!? YOU DI'KUTLA ARUETII!!!"
"In what meaning are you using aruetii, Master?"
"Traitor. Now, Lockdown Voice Code number seven."
Ky'ram shuts off his comm connection with his ship. He hears heavy footsteps.
"Hello Mird'ika."
After a pause, he says:
"What? You knew I wasn't gonna stay in there."
"Can you at least behave yourself?" Mird asked as he walked into the room, "It seems another one of Vren's friends has appeared, and he looks like he could beat the rest of use bare-handed."
"Really? What's his armour color?"
"Red and black, lots of battle scars, some blood paint if I'm not mistaken."
"Gir'rak? Heh, we were training rivals. He always came out on top. But when I beat him in sniping, he started to beat me up. We both were in the med bay for weeks. Long story short: He could beat the osik out of all of us."
((Quick Note: Crap+Star Wars=Osik))
"Well let's go see what's going on, maybe we can talk to Vren about your bounty too."
...
"Yeah. I just hope Gir'rak won't recognize me."
Vren stood patiently waiting outside the ship. He could see Gir'rak standing in the middle of the walkway a few hundred yards away, staring him down, inspecting him from top to bottom.
If I were in his position, I would too.
He could hear noises from inside the ship again. If that areutii Bounty Hunter was loose in his ship again, he was seriously going to have to knock some heads.
He pushed a button on his wrist.
"Mird, give me an sitrep. And I dont want to hear that the bounty hunter has escaped again."
"Hey! I'm standing right here!"
Mird'ika's comm beeped and Vren said spoke to him.
"It turns out you won't have to worry to much about this bounty hunter Vren, "he said into his wrist comlink, "yeah he's loose, but he's a Mandalorian from Dxun. He served under Canderous."
Mird just waited for the inevitable verbal punishment that would come next.
"Earlier than that, Mird'ika."
"yeah he's loose, but he's a Mandalorian from Dxun. He served under Canderous."
Vren swore loudly.
"Mird, I dont care who he is, lock him up with some stun cuffs. If he tries to resist shoot him. Im on my way back. I'm going to interrogate this dikut and then we'll find out if he really is Mando'ade."
Vren turned around and headed for the ship.
"Your welcome to join us onboard anytime, Gir'rak." He shouted over his shoulder.
Mird looked at Ky'ram, and held up the stun cuffs.
"Mando'ade or not..."
"That guy is really a di'kut"
Ky'ram says as he holds out his hands.
Vren walked into the cargo hold and saw Mird slap the cuffs on the mando'ade's wrists.
He walked over and grabbed the man by the neck, lifted him bodily into the air and slammed him into the wall and held him dangling there a foot off the ground.
"Now, tell me. Who are you?"
"And here I was thinking you weren't Mando. You know how to interrigate. But, do you know what is most important? Do you know the Mando Honor System?"
The Mandalorian honor system. Ky'ram's specialty. He taught it to all the new recruits, and reminded even the experienced Mando's of it.
This would be good.
Vren chuckled. The mandalorian honor system. He let go with one hand a punched the man with a vicious uppercut to the stomach.
"Im waiting for your name."
He paused.
"And as for your honor system, I know a great deal of honor. But the honor of the Mandalorians was not the honor of the rest of the galaxy. I have seen and done things that would make even the toughest of our people break down in fear, but I persevered. I have killed men, slaughtered them, only for the glory of the fight. And now, look at us, we're scum, backwater criminals, working for hutts. The Mandalorian Honor that I was raised by is long gone. But the new honor of my people is to revive our culture, so that one day, we may strike again."
"Oh, so that's what you think. You think you're Mandalore. Well, let me tell you something: You are not Mandalore. The last Mandalore died over Malachor V. There have been no real Mandalores after that. I don't know where you got your honor system from, but as long as one mando'ad still goes by the real Mandalorian Honor System, the Mandalorians will live. A Mandalore will come, but he is not you."
Mird'ika felt out of place watching the two of them, so he left the cargo hold to check on Jodr and the newcomer.
"You are perfectly inclined to think whatever you want about me, as long as you stay out of my way. But let me tell you something, Dikut. If you want to keep yourself alive, Id suggest staying away from me."
He tossed the Mandalorian bounty hunter into the wall one last time and let him slip to the floor.
"Mird, take Jodr and place charges on the areutii ship. Blow it away. We're going to leave this traitor stranded here, at least until he can book passage back to his master." he said into his wrist communicator.
He grabbed the armored bounty hunter and dragged him back out onto the platform to watch.
Mird'ika obeyed his Mand'alor, casting one more glance at Ky'ram before grabbing charges and heading to Ky'ram's ship...
Ky'ram winked at his ship. It flew away just as they were about to put the charges on.
"Good luck, Tracinya."
Vren watched as the ship flew away.
"You've chosen your fate then."
Vren wrestled the Bounty Hunter over to the edge of the dock and tossed him into open space.
He turned to Mird.
"Something tells me this isnt the last time we're going to see that Areutii. I deactivated the stun cuffs, so at least he'll have a fighting chance. Im not one to kill a fellow Mando'ade in cold blood."
"Lets go, it looks like Jodr has that hull patched."
Vren walked with Mird back to the cockpit fired up the engines and headed for space, but not before noticing that Gir'rak was no longer standing on the platform.
Just then, one of the twi'leks walked into the cockpit and said,
"Master, we've found another intruder."
Vren smiled. "Let him go, he's an old friend."
The ship shot forward into Hyperspace.
Ky'ram winked at his ship. It flew away just as they were about to put the charges on.
"Good luck, Tracinya."
((Ahem. too late.))
((Lets not do godmoding here, the tide can always turn))
((Editted, saw your post and fixed mine. :D))
Ky'ram's ship caught him as he was falling. "Thank you, Tracinya. I take back all the rotten things I've said about you." Ky'ram slid into the pilot's seat and shot into space. "Did you get everything from their ship?" "Yes, Master." "Their destinations?" "Yes." "Then lets go. If I know Mird'ika, they will take a winding path to their final destination. And I'd very much like to see how their mission turns out." Ky'ram said as his ship shot off into Hyperspace.
As the ship entered hyperspace Mird went to the crew quarters to check on Toola, when she wasn't there he decided to check turret control room.
She was there, keeping a sharp eye on the scanners.
"How are you?" He asked as he stepped up to her.
"I'm alright." She sighed.
"What's wrong?"
"I miss... someone." She said looking away.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"Not right now, you go help the others in the cockpit. I'll be fine."
"Okay, I'll come back later..."
Ky'ram comms Mird'ika. "Hopefully he'll pick up. I'd very much like to tell him something about one of those slaves."
Mird's comm beeped, but he was in the cockpit with Vren and Jodr, and it was Ky'ram that was comming him. He disabled it, promising himself that he would check it later...
"Hmm... Disabled. He must be next to the other two. I'll comm him again later. Or maybe he'll comm me. Either way, it works."
"Jodr, did you pick up on his ship scanning our navicomputer?" Vren asked the big mandalorian.
He nodded, then said, "Good thing you wiped the drive and committed the coordinates to memory. I have a feeling he's following us to Tatooine."
"It wont matter. We'll give him the slip there."
Vren turned around and looked at Mird.
"Mird'ika. I've decided to name you my second in command. Come on back to the cargo hold and we'll get you suited up with your new armor. Its time the mandalorians shared a common unifying factor. And why not have it be the thing that protects us from our enemies."
He walked back to the cargo hold, silently contemplating his plans.
Mird'ika would have a hard time giving up his Beskar'gam. He had modeled it after the Mand'alors of old himself. But if the Mando'ade were to be united, then he would have to make a small sacrifice.
He followed Vren to the cargo hold where he started removing the Beskar plates one by one...
