Yeah, he was in the latest update on the TOR site. I dislike the fact that he has no visor (perhaps I'm being too anal).

Well, he looks cool, but you're right, Te Mirdala Mand'alor, the lack of visor makes him less Mandalorian:D

I hope something happens to him, so a more capable Mand'alor could take over:D

He doesn't look strong or bad enough to be a Mandalore - my bet is it's just a variant helmet for regular guys.

(perhaps I'm being too anal).

Not at all, I think the Gladiator/Conan the destroyer look is Rubbish, Mandalore needs a closed Visor. Or at least a much better looking open one lol.

Well, his armor is obviously Neo-crusader....they didn't advance once in the last thousand years?

I'm glad they have at least kept some reminder of the fighting force they were during the times of the true Mand'alors. The ones who had names in Mando'a like: Te Kandosii Mand'alor, and had the mask of Mand'alor.
In other words: Neo-Crusader armor = Good thing.

I saw a shirtless Mandalore in one of the videos on swtor.com - he looked ridiculously ripped.

Not at all, I think the Gladiator/Conan the destroyer look is Rubbish, Mandalore needs a closed Visor. Or at least a much better looking open one lol.

I think part of Mandalore's storyline revealed in some of the swtor.com content involves winning over a Gladiator-like arena on Geonosis or some similar planet. That would jive with the outfit.

Whether or not we like the storyline is a different issue altogether.

i think Mand'alor needs too look more, battle worthy, more fierce, tough i don't think this guy looks scary at all. and a mandos needs to look scary.

but i guess when i think of Mand'alor i instantly think or boba, he was a scary man :)
but like the others said the lack of visor and the gladiator helmit doesn't really suit Mand'alor, maybe if they gave him no helmit like, canderous he suited it well.

I liked what i could see of the amour but a nice helmit with a visor would be nice, maybe like KoTOR I & II :)

I think he might get a visor. I think the story is that he started in a gladiator-like arena and kicked some serious a$$, winning his freedom and inspiring mandalorians across the galaxy. that pic might be from his gladiatorial days and not from his days as the mandalore.

When did we arrive in Rome???

It's a similar storyline too...

The general who became a slave...
The slave who become a gladiator...
The gladiator who defied an emperor...

The slave who become a gladiator...
The gladiator who become Mandalore...

Ok, so it's not exact, but it is eerily similar, especially when you consider the armor. I still think he'll get a visor though, once he becomes Mandalore.

A Mandalore does not need to be scary and tough, he just needs bravery and courage. A Mandalore does not need a visor because maybe that is how Mandalorians are like in the time of the Old Republic. Maybe we all don't know about Mandalorians as much as we think we do. Eventually we'll learn more of the history of the Mandalorians.

Mandalore wheres a full face Visor, it's how it was in 4000 BBY, it's how it is in 40 ABY, Mandalorians are all about their Armor and the their honor, It's always been the T visor. But even if that wasn't established, the Gladiator helm looks POO! :)

Looks awful. Don't know why they would want to change the design of the T-visor helmet when it's proven to be something people immediately link with Mandalorians. Even if I would welcome a change in the design of a Mandalore, this is just weak.

Well, that's because this Mandalore was a gladiator, so he has to have a gladiator helmet.

Thanks - I've been trying to say that too. I think he will get a visor and more traditional Mandalorian armor as the story progresses. That screenshot of the Mandalore coincided with a point in the storyline where he was a gladiator.

the first picture was him in Mandalorian Neo-Crusader armor, but he had the poo helm, he had a gun. My guess is this is Biowares idea of a good thing and there sticking with it hehe.

My problem is that Mandalore was always what Boba Fett was to me before AOTC, the faceless Bounty Hunter, emotionless killer, the mysterious Stranger, the man without a past... you get the idea. But at the end of the day he could still fight in a dueling arena and not look like a roman Gladiator tbh. I just think it is bad design on biowares part, regardless of whether he maintains the open visor look.

I agree with you, for the most part, except that I'm willing to accept the design if it's only associated with the gladiator part of the storyline.

Luckily for us, he won't be in the game since he's dead and gone by that time...

A new Mandalore (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Mandalore_(Cold_War)) was shown in the 'Empire changes tactics' video.

Strange that he has water resevoirs the size of a small mid-european country on his shoulders...

That's the Mand'alor of TOR?

Probably. Just check the main site (www.swtor.com) to check the update.
Apparantly, the Gladiator Mandalore was a pawn of the Sith Empire. And the galaxy doesn't know if the new one is too.
Which means the Mando's will probably be a race/class, since this story element will pave the way for LS mando's if they choose to serve the Republic.

But still, Mandacrowe was good :)
