Well, im planing on doing an Underworld themed launcher for TSL, and possibly KOTOR. The music i hope to use is from the movie itself(at least on one of the soundtracks). While im definitely going find and credit the composer of the music, i wonder if using it, and releasing the launcher on a Kotor files, would be, okay to do so to speak.

As long as you have permisson from the composer/owner of the music, and can prove to the KotORFiles staff that you have said permission, there shouldn't be a problem. :)

Q: What about borrowing stuff from other games? They don't have read-mes.

A: You have to be careful what kind of things you borrow from other games. Porting models or maps is definitely a no-no, but if you borrow sounds or textures that's usually okay. You must credit them, however. Including them and not explaining where they came from is unacceptable.

Does that mean that we CAN use music?

If you read my post you should get your answer. As long as you have permission from the owner of the file you're using, and can prove that you have that permission, you should be able to use it.
