How Create the MAP file? - LucasForums

I allready unpack the module.ifo .git .are in the directory
But when i opened module in module editor, on Kotor tool, it say "Need a MAP file in a map directory"
How can create this file?

You can download some map files from the KotOR Tool web site (but not all). To create map files is a big undertaking, but clearly outlined on the site. I never used map files for my modding though :-) .

hey I'm new to LF and I apologize if anything i say is inaccurate.

I understand this is an old post, but this is something I would like to do as well.

It does indeed outline how to go about doing this, however the final step requires you to send it to fred tetra so he can modify it to work with the kotor tool. This is no longer possible because as far as I can see he has left due to real life situations.
