(Note - I (and my accomplice) use GMax. Also, we used NWmax version 0.7.)

o hai. I have a problem regarding exporting a saber I made in (G)Max. Following T7's A-Z of modeling a saber tut, I modeled a saber I call "The Darklighter." (And an ROTJ Luke Hilt, which is wayyy too small for a regular saber) Anyways, I get to the point of the tutorial where I have to export. I select the Aurora, and I click "Export Goem's Only". Now, I look at the destination, and I see nothing. I try 20 more times, still nothing. So, at this point, I want to know if its me, or something else. So, I recruit The Accomplice (aka Ferc) to try and export them. He has the same exact problem in exporting.

Do you know what could be wrong?

Did you start your Gmax with the green on black NW.exe logo ?

Cause IIRC, version 0.7 needs Snoop to export properly.

You can find that NW (in green on black) in the folders of Gmax where you installed the NWmax stuff.

Just double click to start the Snoop script stuff.

That did the trick for me. :^: I guess I'll get back to exporting TG's sabers, after all.

Oh noes, more export problems ;_;

Anyways, I am trying to export an edited body model of the Handmaiden (Head stuffed into chest, hood moved), and, when I click export, it says "SanityCheck failed for P_HandmaidenBB. Push YES to continue export."

I try pushing yes, and it produces an mdl successfully. I open up Taina's Replacer and follow the directions. After I pick out my new exported ascii mdl file, Taina's Replacer says the following:
http://d.imagehost.org/0615/replacer-error.jpg)

So I believe its a problem with that sanity check earlier.

Now, how would I be able to fix this problem? Would I have to use MdlOps?

Again same problem here, but clicking OK, and trying a second time and then it works.... :confused:
The same problem is discussed here:
