problems problems problems...
thats all this damn file format causes for Max

allrighty guys, looking for some help here, closest plugin for .mdl files to max i can find is

theres no "official" plugin for max 8 or 9, theres no unofficial KOTOR .mdl plugin
the KOTOR2 files wont work with the HL2 mdl plugin, or with teh Neverwinter nights 2 plugin...

so, helpzors please. looking for Max 8 or 9 .MDL importer/exporter

Use any version of 3ds NWMax, and configure the installation yourself.

cheers for that, got NWmax now, although im damned if it'll import anything, and yeh, i've downloaded the NWN scripts seperatly and whacked those in all the right places. but on import i just get the errors detailed below -

You also need MDLOps to decompile the models into ASCII.
