Hello!

I am toying with the restoration of Tar'eelok and Garrum. I looked up their dialogues and some lines have entries which determine the availability. Unfortunately those scripts are not listed in the Script, Compiled list. My question is, what will happen if the check is done?

Thanks and take care

I have been trying to restore that scene for a while but scince i have one irtating bug i can't finish it :( ( not in the dialog but in a thing that should make the dialog better i think ) As for to script determinete availabillity they don't destroy the dialog in any way if i remember correctly but i suggest you should remove them like i did if you don't find them anywhere.

Edit: I can realese if i wish to but i think it's better if i put a script so they fight and talk while they fight like Bos

Startfight

Garrum: This is futile master! Why must you keep me back like this? Why can I not learn to fight with a real lightsaber?

Tareelok: Do not underestimate the strength of your Cortosis blade, young padawan.

Garrum: It is not a lightsaber! It is nothing!

Tareelok: And perhaps that is the reason you have not advanced to lightsaber training.

Stop fight

You are too headstrong, too overeager to move on without the knowledge necessary to use what you learn.

A lightsaber is a delicate and subtle weapon. One that can cause great harm to its weilder if not used properly.

I believe we have trained enough for now. Reflect on what you have learned, Padawan. Through learning comes knowledge.

Garrum: There is no ignorance. There is knowledge.

Yes, Master. Thank you.

As you may think the dialog will become better instead of they both just standing with they swords an look against eachother ( lol?)

You could always use Silveredge's source scripts for some inspiration on how to do the script.

More pressing, however, I think, is the need for a trigger to activate the dialogue - and that's where things can get a little complex.

I have made the script and used Silveredge 9 scripts and i get so the dialog starts BUT 2-4 seconds after they start fighting the dialog ends without any reason top end. One time i skippe the dialog untill i reached the stop fight script so they fight didn't start and then the dialog was doing just fine.

BTW Thank you silveredge for those scripts. Without them i would have been lost.

Hello!

The fight sequence works quite nicely now. I just need some advice from players who are in the know (rumourwise) how the scene was intended to unfold.

If you look into the dan13_cort.dlg file you find three scripts that should be fired:
- k_pdan_cort01 (which I assume starts the scene and which sekan solved perfectly),
- k_pdan_cort02 (which I assume stops ths fight scene and which sekan also solved perfectly).
He really did, he just did not know :-) .

But when Garrum starts talking another script should be fired called k_pdan_cort08 (08!), and I have no inkling at all what else should happen in that scene. The scene as it is now works quite okay, but this unsolved script problem bugs me nonetheless.

Any insights are highly appreciated!!!

Thanks and take care
