I recently decided to venture into the world of Kotor modding, and decided to start with some reskinning. Below is my adult Mission Vao for TSL, and I'd appreciate constructive criticism, suggestions and possible advice. It may not look at much, but I've spent quite some time making it (especially the head).

I know the skin colour on her body doesn't quite match her face, but I couldn't get it to match 100%... but I don't think it's a big enough difference to be too noticeable.

I'm not too happy about the underwear texture - but as far as I know, TSL only contains two; the one I use and Handmaiden's. And I didn't think the latter fit Mission all that well (I did try it out)... but eh, she's not supposed to run around half-naked anyway.

The clothing is a mix of two different textures for that model, both recolourled. I'm a bit unsure about the pink, is it too much...? Should it be another colour? I was trying to go for a "I'm a grown-up woman now, but I'm still cute" look.

Also, does it look like an adult Mission? If I hadn't said it was her, would you guess it?

This looks really good. I would definitely use it. I hate giving advice about stuff i'm an amateur at, but I would recommend using a different area for screenshots in the future -- it's kinda dark :). Telos's main residential area for K2 is pretty good. I like Manaan for K1. I'm sure everyone has their "favorite" picture spots, though.

It's been awhile since i have looked at K2 textures, but I think that the skin for the scoundrel is still present. If you are displeased with the current one you may try and locate that to use as a base. I think the underwear is pretty good, though. The tunic is cool - the boots' length is my favorite part. All in all, excellent.

Good idea to use a different module with more lighting, I hadn't thought of that at all...I just picked something random. I'll definately do that for the next screenies.

Quite impressive. If you aren't happy with the body-head color match, then colorize it, and write down the amounts for the hue and saturation. Then apply the same for the other one.

I did actually try to colorize, but the problem is that the foundation for head and body isn't the same; the head I based on the female blue twilek, the body on the caucasian female. With a much darker head than body, applying the same colour to both does not provide the same result. For the time being, I have given up trying to make a better fit.

Her clothing still needs a lot of work (I won't keep the current colouring, it was just for testing purposes) and I'll likely make her skin a bit less dark.

If you wonder who she is, she's a character I made up myself: Her name is Jaya Nalini and she's a Jedi Knight. A Jedi Sentinel, to be precise. She wields dual green lightsabers. She's inspired by Aayla Secura and Alora from JK: Jedi Academy.

And yes, I must confess to be particular fond of Twileks. My next reskin will likely be a lightside version of Yuthura Ban.

I'm pretty happy with the robes I made, though I'm a bit unsure whether the colouring is personal enough for her... or whether I should make her something else and turn this one into a pc-robe.

Actually, my plans are far more ambitious than a recruitment mod - but whether or not I'll be able to learn the necessary scripting for said plans is yet to be seen. :D

At the moment, I'm mostling doing reskins. More will come, though no more Twileks for the time being.

Again, I thank you for the praise - though I honestly think comparing me to Quanon is an insult towards him. :p

Good work on the skins hive! That type of stuff is alot trickier than most people assume, but you seem to be doing just fine. One thing you could try if you want your adult mission to look a little more like young mission would be to add little freckles on and around her nose. You might have freckles on already but I couldn't tell with the pics you posted. Also be sure tolook at thehighlighting on her faceand the eye makeup that sets out her eyes. However, about the freckless and stuff: I'm simply not skilled enough to do that. Not in a way that will look good, at least. I did try. :D

It's a total conversion story mod for TSL. But like I said, those are very ambitious plans - and it all depends on whether I'll learn to be sufficient with scripting (or alternatively finds help). I have some ideas for a main story, subquests, characters, items, planets and stuff.

But if the above plan will prove to a pipe dream, I'll probably just release a big texture bundle. I have more texture ideas coming once I'm done with an exam I'm working no.

Wow I am glad to say your not lying when you added an adult mission skin, and said it was you first. Well done. And if you skinning equals the modding capabilities and DarthDingDong said, then the total conversion story mod might be well worth the download. Keep it up and soon you will look like this
