The 3 jedi ran left and they started for the right.
"Do you think Payne found them?"
Ganner brought his sword to the front of him, blocked a incoming blow to the face. "I'm not sure." He pushed the man away from him and threw his saber into the chest of the sith man. "He better find them quick though, if he hasn't."
Payne stepped forward into the chamber, and looking down at the slayed beast.
"Nice job... I'd hate to get close to that thing... what is it anyway?"
"Krayt just having a bad day..." Cade answered, he too staring down at the dead beast.
"We have no time taxidermitate and claim him as a trophy. Your friends are waiting for you..."
"Shado, Ganner and Wolf?" Cade smiled with excitement. "Alright then... I was getting sick of the gloominess of this place anyway..."
Lyna grew excited. "All right! Let's go!" She began to run towards the door. Then she looked at Cade and Payne.
"We gotta be on the look out for Nihl and the other Sith too!" Lyna stopped at the door, and scratched her head. "Hey, Payne? Maybe it's best if you lead us to where you came from. Oh! One more thing..."
She walked to where Krayt was lying dead. When Lyna got close to him, she blew a kiss towards the dead beast. "Rest in peace, Krayt..."
The young woman then blushed, looking at the two men. "Well... let's go."
Cade frowned at Lyna. "Er, you know he was trying to kill us in the first place right?"
"Follow me if you want out of this place!" Payne barked, as he led the way out of the chamber. "I followed the ventilation shaft, which I entered through a hanger of sorts..."
Cade followed Payne. Lyna was right. Just because the Dark Lord is dead, doesn't mean the end of the Sith. They are likely to encounter many Dark Jedi. Most particulary, Nihl; Cade's very nemesis...
As they ran through the hallways, Lyna turned to Cade. "Sorry about that, Cade. But my mother taught me that 'Even if someone is against you... understand your enemies, as you understand those close to you.' I know it sounds weird but... I believe that."
They continued to run as fast as they could, from any Sith attention. Lyna suddenly felt Ganner and Wolf's presence getting near.
"I feel that Ganner and Wolf are near. Gee, I hope they get out as soon as we do... safely."
Payne led the two love-birds back to where he came in. Into the men's locker room through a narrow ventilation shaft. Following that came the hanger he mentioned.
At this point, nothing had came in their way. All they had to do was stay positive and they should be okay.
Payne kicked the grill of the shaft blocking the entrance to the Hanger. As it tumbled down, Payne jumped onto the stacked boxes of cargo climbing up to the shaft. He aimed his rifle in various directions. He could see Imperial Fighters taking off into the large mouth of the hanger door, most likely trying to combat the shuttle.
Lyna gasped. "Oh man! We gotta get to the shuttle, before it's fried! For the love of the Force, I hope Cyan and the others are okay!"
She took out her lightsaber, ignited it, and saber threw it at a nearby Fighter. The Fighter blew up successfully, as Lyna's lightsaber came back to her. She sighed.
"Okay. Maybe if we meet them at the roof, we could be safe!" She looked around, trying to figure out on how they could get out.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Kark!" Morrigan yelled. "Imperial Fighters. Okay, Jedi... get the others from the roof, while we distract the Fighters."
Shado nodded. As the Jedi Shuttle came close to the roof, waiting for the others, The Grinning Liar began shooting at incoming Fighters.
Shado began to comlink Ganner. "Ganner! I sense that Cade, Lyna, and Payne are near. It's best if you guys come back ASAP!"
Ganner looked grabbed his comlink, and raised it to his chapped, lipped mouth. "We can't your going to have to come down here to pick us up, or your going to have to wait another 10 minutes for us, " he sabered a sith through his chest as he charged at Ganner. "... to find a way to the roof."
He hooked it to his belt and looked over to Wolf. "You doing ok so far?"
Wolf slashed his green bladed lightasber through a Sith, and glanced back at Ganner. He grinned. "Although I only have one arm, I'm still in pretty good shape. But other than that, I'm doing all right."
A male Sith Rodian ran towards him, and swung his lightsaber at Wolf, but missed. Wolf decapitated his head. "How about you, Ganner? You doing fine?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shado nodded. "All right. Once Cade, Lyna, and Payne gets on the roof, I'll bring them in the Jedi Shuttle. Then I'll come down for you guys."
After saying that, Shado glanced at The Grinning Liar. Morrigan and her crew members were doing a great job at distracting those Fighters.
Cade jumped down onto the tiles of the hanger. He then grabbed Lyna's hand and pulled her down. Payne followed the two.
"There is an elevator in this Hanger that'll lead us to the roof. Follow me!"
And just as they crossed the hanger towards the elevator door, it slid open. Inside of the elevator was a dark Naa\gai Sith Warrior: Darth Nihl.
He glanced up at the three, glaring most particulary at Cade. He ignited his Lightsaber cane, and the red shining blade glowed across his face. There was silence.
Cade pulled out his father's Lightsaber, which was secretly rebuilt. The blue blade shun out of the hilt, pointing towards Nihl.
Lyna ignited her mother's lightsaber, and stood in a Defense stance. "Why can't you people just leave us alone? I mean, really!"
She glanced at Cade worringly. She didn't want to see him fall towards the Dark Side again... because of Nihl. After what they've been through... Lyna was willing to defend Cade at all cost. Even Payne... because he was their ticket out of this Temple.
The young woman began to Force bond Cade. "Cade... let me help you. We can both take him down!"
Lyna glared at Nihl again, her lightsaber ready for any attacks.
"These must be adepts, no major resistance yet. I wonder how the other group is doing?" He kicked the head of the dead rodian. "Should have joined the jedi silly boy." he murmured.
"All right. Once Cade, Lyna, and Payne gets on the roof, I'll bring them in the Jedi Shuttle. Then I'll come down for you guys."
"Alright see you down there." Ganner put the comlink to his belt, "Alright this area seems clear lets head to the hangar."
At first, Cade wanted to say "no" because this was a battle meant to be fought by him and Nihl alone. But this was Lyna's war as well.
"... Alright Lyna. Together then!"
"I should have finished you off at Tatooine, Skywalker! I knew better than to trust you again. But tonight, we finish this!"
Cade was the first to be attacked. The Jedi reacted by blocking the first strike. Then Nihl made a fast spinning Butterfly manouvre by swiping his cane at the three opponents.
Payne ran a safe distance so he could aim his rifle at the Nagai sith lord.
Lyna parried Nihl's lightsaber blows as best as she could. The young woman also made sure that Cade and Payne didn't get hurt. Otherwise, she'd probably go crazy.
She bent her back and knees to avoid Nihl's attack. ((Like The Matrix. :D)) Then she lifted herself back up, and jumped at Nihl. Fighting this Sith was more difficult than ever!
"Gotta pay attention. Who knows what this guy's capable of!" Lyna thought to herself. She moved back. "C'mon, Nihl! Take me instead! I'm the one who keeps Cade from dying! I'm the one you should be after!!"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Morrigan looked down. There at the opening of the hangar, she could see her son and two other people being dueled by a Nagai Sith. She placed a hand on Chak's shoulder.
"Chak! Keep distracting those Fighters! I've got a son to save..."
The Wookie nodded. >Right! Be careful, Corde.<
Morrigan placed on a special jetpack, grabbed an E-11 blaster rifle, and jumped out of the Grinning Liar and into the air. The jetpack came on, and the mother of Cade was about to join combat as well.
When she landed inside the hangar, she got a good look at her son. Ever since she saved him from that last rescue mission, this was her first time actually seeing his face.
"Does anybody need assistance?" Morrigan said, raising her blaster rifle.
Ganner entered the hangar and was greeted by a swarm of Sith. "Are the others dead?" He then noticed a floating figure to his right, yelling. "Who is that?"
Morrigan continued to raise her blaster rifle up at any Sith that attempted to kill the other allies. "Darling... I am Morrigan Corde. Mother of Cade Skywalker!"
She shot down another Sith. Then she turned to Lyna. "And who might you be, young one?"
The two woman had their backs together, shooting and blocking any Sith atacks. "Lyna Honso. Protector of Cade Skywalker. I'm surprised that you're his mom." She grinned.
"Life is full of surprises..." Morrigan told Lyna.
Payne held down the trigger of his rifle, which bursted laser fire in certain directions he aimed. He managed to gun down a few Sith, but most of them were specially trained to block blaster fire.
Perhaps Melee combat is a more best approach. He unsheathed his upgraded Vibroblade and clashed between a young Sith Student.
Cade and Nihl continued to clash blades. The both were a formidable match against each other. Nihl force pushed Cade across the hanger, but landed safely on the catwalk attached to the wall. Nihl mirrored the action by landing on the opposite catwalk.
Both glared at each other. Then they launched themselves into the air, and as they were slamed their Lightsabers against each other. Then they landed safely on their opposite catwalk. Nobody took any damage...
Ganner sliced a Sith across his chest and fell backwards holding his chest.
Ganner grabbed his comlink, "Shado come to the hangar everyones here."
Ganner looked at the Sith apprentice, "you could have joined us and this wouldn't have happened to you." He jumped down the steps and towards the main hangar doors. He looked up and waited for Shado.
"Right! I'm on my way!" Shado called back on his comlink. He flew the ship down towards the opened hangar. And sure enough... he saw a battle down at the Sith hangar.
Shado landed the Jedi Shuttle in the hangar, and went towards the main entrance of the shuttle. When the door opened, Shado called out to all his allies.
"You guys! C'mon! I don't know if this place is gonna go down, but we gotta get outta here ASAP!!" He waited on the others to come.
Lyna fought Talon with all her might. "You should've kept your word, Jedi slime! Now that my Master's dead... I was thinking of taking his place!"
The young blonde woman glared at the female Twi'lek Sith. "I don't think so." Then, all of a sudden, she stabbed Talon right through the heart! Lyna was the first to kill one of Krayt's best Hands.
"Rest in Peace, Sith." Lyna ran towards the Jedi Shuttle, along with Morrigan, Blue, Syn, and the other allies. She then glanced at Cade, who was still dueling Nihl. "Cade! C'mon! Please!" She began to worry for him.
Cade could hear Lyna's call from across the hanger. He wasn't sure whether to finish Nihl once and for all, or leave with Lyna and his companions.
The Lightsabers met with each other, and hissed. Steam was given off by the blades of light. Both Cade and Nihl gritted their teeth, and pierced their eyes at each other.
"It'll end tonight, Darth! Or perhaps tommorow..." Cade promised. "By then, I promise you, I'm going to kill you and burn you atop of a pile of wood!"
"You over confidence is your weakness, Skywalker!" Nihl spat out.
"We'll see!" Cade barked. He force pushed the Sith Lord away, which made him crash into the wall up ahead. Cade ran up the ramp into the shuttle to accompany his allies (including most unexpectingly, Morrigan Corde, Cade's mother).
"Punch it!" he barked at whoever was flying the shuttle.
Shado nodded as he sat down on the pilot seat. He began to switch on cords, and placed his hands on the yoke. Then, the Jedi Shuttle flew upwards, meeting the Grinning Liar.
Morrigan came in the cockpit with Shado. "Thanks for coming, Jedi. Remember, we're heading towards the Underworld. We'll be safe there for now." She walked back to where the others were at.
The male Twi'lek nodded, and both the Grinning Liar and Jedi Shuttle headed towards the Underworld of Coruscant.
Lyna saw that Cyan was well and healthy... and that she also had baby binjinphants! She hugged her little friend happily. Then she gently patted the five baby binjinphant's heads. "Oh, Cyan! You're a mother. They're so cute too!"
She smiled, got up, and walked towards Cade. "Hey, Cade? I didn't know your mother was alive..." Lyna glanced at Morrigan, who slowly came in the Passenger room.
Morrigan sadly smiled. "Hello, Cade."
Ganner dusted off his robe and looked at Wolf. "Well that was fun don't you think? And casualties on our part." He sat down to rest, leaned back and put his hands behind his head.
Cade glanced up at the aging woman with hair of a feral... a feature he had inherited from his mother no doubt.
"Hello mother..." Cade greeted, unsure whether he was happy to see her again. "Didn't expect to see you again after all this time. And "rescuing" me again from the Sith Temple..."
Cade rested against the seat, with his head hanging backwards.
Wolf grinned at Ganner's question. "Well... some parts were good, and some parts were difficult. But with that said... it was great!" He chuckled, as he sat down on the Passenger seat.
Lyna narrowed her eyes at Cade, and shook her head. "Cade! Your mother came through all this trouble to save you... again. At least a simple 'Thank you' might do."
Morrigan made a gesture for Lyna to calm down. "It's okay, Honso. I know when I'm not wanted around, when a son is ungrateful..."
This must've been harsh to say... even for a mother to say towards her own son.
"Great killing those Sith?" he closed his eyes, and got a flashback of his child hood running up and down the hallways of the temple, as his grandfather would chase him around, then complain about the Force adepts. "Its been a long time since I've last been in the temple."
"Cade! Your mother came through all this trouble to save you... again. At least a simple 'Thank you' might do."
Cade glanced at Lyna when she said those words. Then turned to face his mother.
"Perhaps you're right... its difficult to forgive a parent who has abandoned you at childbirth and becomes an Imp. Still, I owe you my gratitude Mom... thanks again."
Morrigan turned, and looked down at Cade. Then she smiled. Throughout these years, she felt ashamed for leaving her son and her lover Kol. But now... would Cade forgive her for her wrongdoings?
"You're welcome... son. And... I'm sorry." She felt like hugging him... but didn't. Then Morrigan sat down on a seat, looking out the window, trying to fight the tears.
Lyna sat next to Cade, and kissed him on the cheek. "I'm so happy that you and your Mom are here together. Well... I'm also happy that everyone's here together... like one big family." She rested her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes happily...
Shado began talking through the speaker of the Jedi Shuttle. "As you can see, folks, the Underworld is appearing as we speak. So... be on the look out when we get down there!"
Cyan rested in the basket with her five babies, thinking that everything was going to be all right.
Cade wrapped his arm around Lyna's shoulder. He looked up at Shado.
"As you can see, folks, the Underworld is appearing as we speak. So... be on the look out when we get down there!"
"So what exactly will we be doing in the underworld. Somebody fill me in, please?"
"So what exactly will we be doing in the underworld. Somebody fill me in, please?"
Morrigan, who sat on the opposite side of the Passenger seat, got up, and announced what was going to happen. "Once we get down there, we'll rent an Inn there. There's this one called the Underworld Inn. It's not much, but we can rest there. After that, we come together to figure out our next course."
She sat back down, folded her arms, and looked out the window again.
Lyna looked up, and nodded slowly. The Underworld was full of criminals and not much of a happy place. She also heard that thugs were ruthless down there these days.
The young woman held on the Cade's Mandalorian-like chest plate, and rested her head on his shoulder again. Suddenly, a question came to mind... something she wanted to ask Cade a long time.
"Cade? I know this might sound crazy but... were you jealous... when I was with Rock?" Lyna Force bonded to him.
"Once we get down there, we'll rent an Inn there. There's this one called the Underworld Inn. It's not much, but we can rest there. After that, we come together to figure out our next course."
Cade thought that didn't seem like much of a plan. Then again he didn't have anything better, so he didn't complain.
"Cade? I know this might sound crazy but... were you jealous... when I was with Rock?"
Cade chuckled in his head. "How typical for girls wanting to know about these sort of things..."
"Haven't we passed this already?" he replied.
Lyna placed a hand over her mouth and smiled, timidly. "Oh yeah! I'm sorry. It's just that... I can't stop thinking about him..." She sighed, and looked up into Cade's eyes.
"But don't worry. I'll always love you... no matter what." She gave him a peck on the cheek, and placed her head on his shoulder, giggling in her soft, sweet tone.
Wolf looked out the window. They were in the Underworld. As the Jedi Shuttle flew towards the Underworld's docking bay, Wolf nudged Ganner's arm. "Hey. We're here now."
Shado flew the Jedi Shuttle inside the docking bay. The ship made a safe landing inside. Now that they were in the Underworld, it was time to find the Inn. Shado got up from the pilot seat, and entered the Passenger room. "Okay, everybody. We're here. I just want to let you all know... be careful. And may the Force be with all of us."
Morrigan got up, and noticed Cade and Lyna together, happy. She grinned. "Look at them. They remind me of myself when I was with Kol. I hope good things will come to them."
After that, she walked out of the Jedi Shuttle, trying to hide the tears.
Ganner woke up to his arm nudged by Wolf. He stretched his arms and legs. "I feel better now." He stood up and looked out of the ramp section. "Why are we in the underworld?"
Wolf came by Ganner's side, looking around at the gloomy place. "Cade's mother said we should rest up at an Inn. Then we come together for our next plan."
"That's right," Morrigan said, turning around. "So in case you all wanna stay in the Jedi Shuttle, be my guest. But we go to the Inn, and stay low for a while. Then... our next plan." She looked around, making sure no one would stand in the group's way.
Chak and Kee came out of their ship as well, meeting the others. "Ahh, the Underworld. What joy." Kee grinned sarcastically.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Lyna got up, and knelt down by Cyan's basket. "You wanna stay here, girl? Just in case something happens? I don't want your little ones hurt out here..."
Cyan licked Lyna's hand, and cuddled up by her babies. Lyna nodded, and smiled. "Okay." She glanced at the Jedi Healer.
"Don't worry. I'll keep them company," The female Human said.
Lyna smiled. "Thanks." She went over to Cade's side, and gently grabbed his hands. "C'mon. You ready?"
"Alright but we can't stay long. The Sith probably didn't take the attack kindly, along with the death of the Sith Leader." He walked off the ramp and followed Morrigan toward the destination.
"C'mon. You ready?"
"Yup..." Cade grasped Lyna's hand as they walked out of the shuttle together. "Why is your hand wet?"
It took him a moment to realise. Cyan had licked her hand "Ugh..."
The Underworld was still the same as Cade had left it. Gritty and vong spawned... No place like home!
When Lyna saw Cade react, she looked at her right hand. It was still covered in a little of Cyan's drool. "Oops! Oh yeah... I forgot to wipe my hand. Sorry." Smiling, she took out a piece of cloth from her bag, and wiped her hand. It was finally clean.
As Cade and Lyna were out of the shuttle, the young woman looked around. Although it was her first time here, it was kinda spooky. A place like this made her feel scared and sent chills down her spines.
"Oooh. This place gives me the ba-jee-bees." Lyna held on to Cade, closely. In a place like the Underworld, it was frightening than ever.
Morrigan glanced back at the group. "Everybody here? Good. Now... everyone's gotta follow me. If you get lost... that's on you. But stay with the group. And be careful. Out here, the Underworld doesn't take kindly to everyone..."
And with that, they started on their journey towards the Inn.
As they walked through the dark streets of the Underworld, Cade contemplated.
"With Darth Krayt gone, who do you think has become the new dark lord?" Cade queried everyone.
"So far, the only main ones I know who have been slain recently are; Talon and Stryfe... I doubt Nihl would be the new one, cause' he wasn't Krayt's main servant. Were there any other Sith Lords who have been killed I forgot to mention?"
Lyna scratched her head. "Umm... I think that's all the Sith we killed so far... even the ones we didn't know. But there's this one Sith named Darth Wyyrlok. He's been real loyal to Krayt ever since I saw him. He could be the new Dark Lord..."
Having a new Dark Lord would mean war again. They had to do something, before it was too late.
Suddenly, about five thugs came out from the shadows. Some had chains, blasters, and vibro-knives. One thug, who was a brown-haired Human with a black eye patch on his right eye, stepped up. He looked like the leader.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here? They don't look like them pathetic Vongspawns... more like unwanted guest in our territory!" The other four thugs laughed. Suddenly, the Human male glanced at Lyna, who was close to Cade, afraid.
"Oh. And what's this? Their little angel. Such beautiful eyes. I like it when they're afraid like that." He cackled, showing his yellow teeth. "How's about I take her on a trip?" He said to Cade, smiling wickedly. Lyna stood there, disgusted by what the man said.
Morrigan glared at each of the thugs, waiting for any move they'd make. "Get ready for anything," she whispered to Ganner.
Ganner forced pulled his saber from his belt to his hand all behind the robe he was in. He then placed his thumb over the button to ignite the blazing blue death.(<---????)
Lyna will take care of him, he thought of the human male. I'll take the guy who looks like he has a bad feeling about confronting us, maybe give him a chance to think about how his life would be ruined if we happened to be Sith.
"How's about I take her on a trip?"
Cade smiled. "Sorry, but theres only a one-way-ticket to hell... which I have reserved for you!" he pulled out his Blaster Pistol and shot the man in his only remaining eye. The thug leader fell down dead.
Cade pointed the blaster at the band of scum. "Which one you wan't Ganner? I'll take the guy with the chains..."
Lyna gasped when Cade shot the Human male leader down in his other eye. She glanced at Cade, continuing to place her hand over her mouth. Suddenly, one of the thugs that had a vibro-knife, ran towards the group.
The young woman ignited her lightsaber, ran towards the man, and swung her lightsaber. The Cathar thug missed his chance at slashing Lyna. So, Lyna Force pushed him on the nearby building wall. When he was down, Lyna Force jumped in the air, and decapitated the male Cathar.
She looked at the other thugs, and stood in her special Soresu stance. Two down, three to go.
Morrigan, Kee, and Chak pulled out their own weapons, ready to fire at the other remaining thugs. As did Blue and Syn. Shado and Wolf also ignited their lightsabers. "All right. Who else want some?" Morrigan asked, glaring hard at the other three.
Ganner ignited his saber after Cade fired. He force pushed the man he had stared down into the alley from which they came. He jumped over the other two men and quickly scanned the area, once his eyes adjusted to the darkness. He noticed the man running away from him down the alley. Ganner started running towards him as he vanished behind a corner.
Ganner went around the corner only to be hit in his robe, nearly hitting skin. He deflected a shot and then the bullets stopped and he started after the man again.
Lyna glanced at Ganner, who had just recently left, trying to capture one of the thugs. The other, who was a male Rodian, ran after Ganner to stop him. When Lyna used Force Sight in the dark alley, she could see that he was shooting at Ganner.
Raising her orange bladed lightsaber, Lyna saber threw it at the Rodian. When it successfully cut the Rodian in half from the waist, the Rodian fell down on the ground, dead. The lightsaber hilt came back to Lyna's hand.
When she deactivated her lightsaber, she yelled at Ganner. "Make sure you don't get lost!!" Finally, she went back to Cade's side, and glared at the man with chains. He knew he couldn't face all of them alone. "He's all yours, Cade." Lyna stared at the man, waiting to watch his move.
"Make sure ...... don't get.... "
Ganner could hear Lyna yell but couldn't make it all out. "Great couldn't hear her."
He jumped over a box, and again noticed the man running, but then he was around another corner. "Man this guy must know this underworld." he murmured to himself. He rounded the corner to get smashed in the head by a metal pole from the male human. He noticed the man smirk, before everything went black. Ganner fell to the ground and the man started dragging him into a building.
"He's all yours, Cade."
Cade glared at the man swinging the chains around. The thug hurled them at Cade, which he had carefully avoided and used his elbo to hit the thugs throat.
"Predictable..." Cade muttered. He used the force to levitate the chains and wrapped it around the fallen thug lying on kneeling on the ground holding his throat. Cade then force pushed him away against the tough wall, which knocked him out cold.
"Where's Ganner?"
Lyna looked around. Ganner wasn't with the group yet, because he kept chasing that last thug. She sighed heavily.
"He's probably still chasing that--" Suddenly, a disturbance through the Force came to Lyna. Ganner was in trouble! It felt like he was defeated by that other thug.
The young woman gasped. "Oh no! Ganner needs help! Quick! Let's go!" Lyna started running down the dark alley, using Ganner's presence to guide her. As the other group followed after her, Morrigan groaned.
"Do I have to be the babysitter around here or what?!" the female Imperial agent complained.
"C'mon! He's not too far!" Lyna shouted. She could feel that Ganner was getting closer...
Cade followed beind Lyna. Ganner coudn't have gone too far, he thought. Cade looked down the near-by alley way, in which Ganner was last seen chasing a thug.
"He's unconcious..." Cade muttered, as he followed the dark alley. He rounded the corner, following yet another one. He stopped as he entered a small area with a door against the wall. He looked upwards, only to see a web of pipes above him. He stared at the door.
Morrigan went up to where the door was, and noticed that it was locked. She turned to the Zabrak named Payne. "Do you have some kind of blaster that'll open this door up?"
Lyna wanted to use her lightsaber to slice it open. But she wanted someone esle to do the job... if they could. The young woman placed her fingers on her forehead, thinking. Using the Force, she found where Ganner was.
"Yep. He's behind this door all right. But we gotta get him outta there, and continue our way towards the Inn!" Lyna sighed, shaking her head and folding her arms.
Ganner awoke finally to be in a force cage. A man stood on the other side. "Good. He's awake." He looked at another man facing away from Ganner.
"Power on."
Ganner felt a tingle go through his body. "What are they doing to me." The tingle began to sting even more than before and kept getting more painful. "Stop it!"
He reached for his saber but it was gone, of course. They must have been really smart thugs, or paid to lead him here. The two men didn't look anything like thugs though.
The pain was worse and not getting better. It looked like they weren't going to stop soon he had to think of something quick. Ganner used Force scream shaking only the cage but the pain became worse. "K, don't use the force on anything, it makes my case worse." He punched the force cage, doing nothing. "What are you guys doing to me?"
The scientist looked at him but didn't answer, but kept writing into his datapad. He tried relaxing and the pain seemed to ease. He sat down making the pain bareable. Ganner just sat there. "What now?"
"Do you have some kind of blaster that'll open this door up?"
Payne looked down at the middle-aged woman before him. "A security door of that kind is inpenatrable. No blaster could tare it down easily."
Payne studied the door. "You'd either need efficient security skills or an explosive to get that door open... But if we want to rescue your friend without his kidnappers noticing, getting this door open is nothing I can't handel!"
Payne walked to the door and set to work. After a few minutes, the doors security system was shut down, and it slid open.
