I don't think anything (salvageable) was left with BioWare's uncanny cleaning methods.

Unlike Obsidian, BioWare did a smashing job of hiding 'most' of their tracks ;)

However, I'd love to be wrong on this :D

Can't we just ask BioWare if we can "borrow" the modules for a mod so we will "finish what they started"? :P
I don't see a problem with that, we would just finish their work.

Tragically, they're under an NDA for an indefinite period of time and as such cannot release this sort of content to the public. I'm afraid that there is very little we can do, unless someone should devote their life energies to the cracking of the model format for areas and figure it all out. :)

have you heard about the HK Factory? if so, you probably know that Team Gizka (http://www.team-gizka.org/) is restoring all the cut content of this factory. They found some modules still in the game and they are using their knowledge to recreate it for our own pleasure :D They are pretty close to a release, only 25 bugs left

They are also fixing bug in the original game, i suggest you to visit their website.

Yepo, there's the area that was going to be used as a secret Rakatan temple on Tatooine, and there is another one that I'm not sure what it is.

and I'm sure if they're around the group restoring M4-78 for tsl could use some help, that is if they are still trying.

Not sure on the modules names, and yeah the original Star Map was going to be in the temple i mentioned, the sarlacc pit is in there, looks quite cool actually.

They're not unfortunatly, they stopped a little while ago.

No modules exist of Sleheyron. Bioware left just enough pieces of Sleheyron in the game to tease the imagination of modders.

There was just a couple background textures like this (sorry can't remember the name)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v170/tk102/d1520cc8.jpg)

and a couple models (I believe named m50aa_01a, m50aa_02a, and m50aa_02b) that look like they were part of Sleheyron.

And finally some scattering in the dialog.tlk file:
37614: Sleheyron City
37638: Battle: Sleheyron City
37639: Battle: Sleheyron Gang
37642: Battle: Sleheyron Arena Battle (one of the models looks like an arena, perhaps something akin to what Stoffe created in her TSL Arena mod).

Using a Sleheyron background on the Unknown world:

An imagined Galaxy Map entry:

There is one module which was almost in tact and possibly part of Sleheyron. It only lacked the files making up the module itself, but I managed to put together a blank version.

There was also a Rakatan temple on Tatooine originally, and an area of Kashyyyk.

You can find them here (http://www.box.net/public/sx2elhudbm#main) (I don't remember exactly, but I think all three are in the '3lostmodules.7z' file. Just download and extract (I think the Czerka depot may need to be compiled as a module first, but I'm not sure on that front - I uploaded this quite a while ago...)

If you download them, you can have a look round, but there's not much to see - they're empty. If you'd like to have a crack at using them for a mod, feel free (although a little credit for salvaging them wouldn't go amiss ;) )

@TK: Nice planet :)

EDIT: Almost forgot to mention, we at Team Jawa (http://team-jawa.kotor2files.com/) are currently planning to restore these areas (and much more) to KotOR :)

A location no one's mentioned, sing Darth333 found it with her warpband was the third level to the Vulkar base. It's a little "sparse" in terms of loot and object placement, but if someone's inclined to soup it up, it could be fun.

A very good point. You can reach it by typing into the console 'warp tar_m10ab' without the quotes (If I remember rightly, anyway...). This module is also, as far as I know, being restored by Team Jawa :)

There are two unrestorable areas of Sleheyron on top of what has been discussed: the three versions of the above mentioned arena, and also a small corridor section. However, neither of these have either lightmaps or walkmesh, and are as such unusable :(

Team Jawa is working on this, but seen as nothing was found on the xbox we will need to make up Sleheyron... If you want you can put some ideas in, heres the link:

[snip]

We are working on walkmeshes but they need to be compiled, like mdl files but into 1 file and not 2.
