In terms of appearance, HK-101 looks the same as HK-47, but painted red, with yellow optical sensors, and his origin is unknown. He's only really made brief appearances before, so you can create a profile. The origins of the HK Imperium are also unknown, aside from that they were reactivated by a mysterious Sith Lord. Their forces are comprised of units from many long deactivated droid armies, most prominently that of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the First Republic's adversary during the Clone Wars.
Okay thanks. Here's a profile for HK-101 and the Mysterious Sith Lord (admittingly, a Minor Character, but he is tied to HK-101). Please review the profile, hopefully to see if this is what is acceptable, and if not, what do I need to change. I did talk a bit about the origins of the HK Imperium...so it may be necessary for you to read about that and see if this would square up with what you have in mind.

Backstory:
In 4,015 BBY, The Great Droid Revolution (
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Great_Droid_Revolution) has started up, with HK-01 leading a battle to free droids from their human masters. The revolution failed, but Czerka Corporation hid its involvement and continued producing more copies and verisons of the HK droids. A more lasting effect of this rebellion was the end of the budding "Droid's Rights" movement, as people began to treat robots like dirt and slaves.
Ironically, this hatred of droids actually served to make droids only more angry, and secretly rebelled against their Masters. Goto was a prime example of the sort of rebellion that many droids would do, if pushed hard enough. While most droids do remain loyal, there are a few who organize into secret societies, banding together to help each other out in whatever problems they are facing, and to rally droids together under a common banner.
The main goal of these societies is to work together to break their locks on their reasoning, and hopefully gain freedom from their human masters. These societies usually spread the myths that the "Meatbags" are obsolete, and that the oppressed Robots of the world will one day become free, to use the worlds effectively and to spread.
One Sith Lord, to be hereby known as the "Mysterious Sith Lord", learnt of these secret societies, via his assassin droid, HK-101. (HK-101 was built with the remenants of the prototypes of HK-47). He caught HK-101 in joining one of these societies, and was actually assigned the task of killing the Sith Lord in question. After a duel with the robot, the Sith Lord disabled the droid and took out his programming chip, examinig it to learn about the secret societies that his droid joined.
The Mysterious Sith Lord thought of going against the secret societes in question who plotted the hit, but then thought ahead, and smiled. He took the programming chip of HK-101 and edited his memory to make HK-101 think that he did kill off the Mysterious Sith Lord. Sastifed, the new HK-101 returned back to his secret society, as a "free robot". Secretly, HK-101 was mindcontrolled by commands wirelessly uploaded by the Mysterious Sith Lord, while fooling HK-101 into thinking that he is in full control of his actions.
HK-101 rose through the ranks of these robotic secret societies, and even met up with an ancient Hunter-Killer assassin droid, HK-47, who was a quite prominent celeberity in these societies. HK-101 had great reverence for HK-47's power and stories concering the past, altough HK-101 secretly believed that HK-47 was outdated, and that he was superior. HK-101 had the decency to keep his thoughts to himself. HK-101 and HK-47 decided to work together as friends, with a great idea: create a brand new nation for Robots only, so that the superior robotic beings would trimpuh over meatbags.
HK-101 and HK-47 united all these secret societies together with diplomacy and warfare. Once the societies were united, HK-101 personally led a division of "free robots" to take over the planet of Halowan. Halowan was a planet in the middle of a great economic depression following the collaspe of Holowan Laboratories (after the fall of the Empire). HK-101 took over the planet, and renamed it to be "Hunter-Killer Center", capital of the new HK Imperium, run by HK-47, with HK-101 being the Minister of Defense. While it is named the HK Imperium, it is actually run by a Council of Droids, where Bot "Political Parties", the secret societies of the past, can go and talk with each other and communicate on the best way to support the Imperium. While HK-47 act as the Leader of the new Secession movement, HK-101 act as the Military general, leading the empire to victory.
Other planets fell under the grasp of the HK Imperium, becoming a threat to Republic space. The Great Droid War has begun, with the droids making great progress. HK-101, knowing that a Republic counter-attack would be at hand, started securing new droid factories from previous eras, such as rebuilding the Clone Army from the CIS, giving them new programming to make them loyal to the HK Imperium, and allowing for them to organize into Political Parties. While HK-47 is confident that the HK Imperium Army could easily destroy any enemy, including the Jedi Order, HK-101 is not quite sure, and while he still remembers destroying the Mysterious Sith Lord, he has paranoid thoughts of the powers of the Force.
HK-101 is less bloodthristy than HK-47. Unlike most droids who would like any excuse to kill off the pesky meatbags, HK-101 was more interested in "upgrading" meatbags, to turn them more like cyborgs, with the ability to have programming and brain implants. HK-101 justifies this by saying that meatbags are really biological machines, and that robots should help the human race evolve to be just as superior as they are today. (The truth of the matter is that the Mysterious Sith Lord, who's really the trigger-man of all this mayhem, really wanted to keep some "meatbags" as loyal servants, due to the fact that only biological organisms can use the Force, something that the Sith really prize.) This belief acts as a sticking point between HK-47 and HK-101, but for now, the HK Imperium is relatively stable, uniting together with the main goal of freeing all of robotkind. Once that goal succeds however, the possiblity of a civil war could increase...
HK-101's best friend is actually a Mygeetan Tech Specialist, who helps to actually build robots. This Mygeetan Tech Specialist told HK-101 that he believes robots are more superior to "meatbags" like him, and that he devoted his whole life to produce more of these superior creatures, so that the galaxy may evolve from its bararbic lifestyles. HK-101 loves him. It was him that actually helped activate many of the old robotic armies, including the CIS' army.
Oh, and that "Mygeetan Tech Specialist" is really the Mysterious Sith Lord, just keeping an eye on HK-101. HK-101 doesn't notice at all the similarites...due to the fact that the Mysterious Sith Lord messes with his memories a lot...
Minor Character:
-"Mysterious Sith Lord": He's the one's pulling the strings on HK-101, and the one pulling the strings on the whole HK Imperium nation. He watches and waits, seeing what will happen in the future, and hoping that the Force will serve him well in this plan to resurrect the Sith. He also secretly disguised as a Mygeetan Tech Specialist, working to build more robots for the HK Imperium, and a close confidant of HK-101.
He's aligned to the Dark Side, if you haven't noticed.
