Due to the time frame of the expansion, will Obi Wan and Moff Tarkin not feature in the expansion due to their deaths? If they do i take it new hero's such as Yoda will replace them.

They won't be playing a part in the Zann Consortium campaign. But they will still be available in Galactic Conquest and Skirmish games.

Actually, I'm pretty sure all GC matches are canon.
The rebels won at Endor because the crappy Imperial AI didn't let them build large fleets of ISDs. It all makes sense now!

They can always blend it into the timeline. With the old heroes, the timeline may be longer for the Zann consortium than the original campaigns.

Well, the "Story Mode" is supposed to be canon.

GC is obviously non-canon as fae as the stories and events goes. I am sure the Empire did not just nuke Hoth with the DeathStar.
