“Dana? What’s happening?”
“I’m not sure, Lieutenant. The feed’s being interrupted – transmitions are jamming up.”
“Can it be fixed?”
“Probably…only…”
“What? Dana?”
“I’ve never seen encoding like this…it looks faintly like – ****, it’s spreading!”
“It’s what?”
“Lock up in motors, sir – I can’t move!”
“There’s been a rupture in the engine room. Engine four’s core’s gone nova!”
“Lieutenant! Look!”
“By the Force…is that a ship???”
“I want all pod bays armed – wait a second…what the…HIT THE DEC---!”

“None, Master. It’s as if they’ve disappeared from known space…not even wreckage.”
Jedi Master Luke Skywalker sat with chin in hand as he surveyed the Knight before him. This news was troubling…what was this mysterious ship that seemingly vaporized the two Republic cruisers into spacedust? And to have done it so quickly, appearing out of no where…
“Master Skywalker?”
The blonde-haired, blue-eyed Master snapped again to the present.
“What should we do, sir?”
Thinking for a moment, Luke sighed, and stood. “Nothing, for now. The Republic is continuing its search, I trust?”
“Yes.”
“Then I see no reason to fret, as of yet. Do not inform anyone else of what you have told me. We all need a rest after this past week, the students don’t need to be burdened with these worries.”
“Of course, sir. Oh, and Miss Klint has arrived.”
“Very good. Give her the instructions.”
“Yes sir.”
Skywalker sat down again once his companion had left. Hunching over, he rested his elbows on his knees and rubbed his hands together.
To appear and disappear like shadows…

The galaxy has finally fallen into a spell of peace. Twenty years have passed since Jaden took the Scepter – nineteen of them without any great excitement.
A now-elderly Luke Skywalker continues to preside over the slowly-rebuilding Jedi Order, the number of Knights and Padawans growing weekly. The Jedi continue to be a pillar of strength and sanity to the New Republic as the final matters of setting up a stable galactic government are followed up and finished. New, enthusiastic senators have been appointed on every planet galaxy-wide, and no new problems have arisen.
Except for one.
Days ago, the Republic fleet lost contact with two of their cruisers who were sent to the very edge of known space to re-establish trade and hyperspace routes. The disappearances are…mysterious, at best. The fact that not a sign of either ship has been seen since the day the final transmission was sent, even though the Republic has been combing the area mercilessly doesn’t help to belay fears.
The Republic has decided to keep the news of the disappearance under wraps until more is known about the fate of the vessels, informing only a select few of the Senate and Jedi. So, for the rest of the populace of the galaxy, including the Jedi, life goes on…

Alright guys, here’s the deal. Things will be going on as normal for us all at the beginning of the Rp, however, conditions will slowly deteriorate as more unsettling news arrives. Characters can include Jedi Knights, Padawans, Mercs, Smugglers, take your pick.

Bio (Optional): When she was a kid, Sara fell in love with the flagship of her father's trading company, the Northstream. Seeing how much she enjoyed simply being on the ship, her father would bring him with her almost every time he left on a job, teaching the young girl how to drive and repair the ship, telling her that one day it would be yours. It wasn't long before this came true when her father died of a severe heart-attack, leaving the freighter to her and the shipping company to her mother. Having no interest and not the foggiest idea of what to do to run the company, Sara was put in charge of her father's company. Through several Trial-and-Error runs, (one in which she lost many of the ships in the merchant fleet through a fallen buisness transaction) her mercentile skills became just as sharp as her weapon-handling and piloting skills. She was able to strike a contract with the Jedi to ferry, not only goods, but people and services as well.
By the time she had turned 19, Sara had found herself in a serious relationship with another man from Nar Shaddaa. The lovers were together for almost a year and a half when Sara returned to their apartment, only to find that his things had been emptied, and a note on the table with a simple message: It's not working out. We're over.
She later found out that he had met a dancer in a cantina and, after a week and a half, got up and left with her on one get-rich-quick scheme or another. Ever since that betrayal, she has found it extremely hard to trust anyone, even those she's known for years. Though her exterior and personality is warm, friendly, welcoming, and likeable, inside she is still scarred by what had happened two years ago. She hasn't told anyone the story of what happened, and she isn't planning to any time soon.

Bio: Jethro’s life changed drastically at the age of 15. He was at home with his parents and sister, just after dinner. Suddenly, mercenaries stopped in front of their house and started shooting at Jethro’s father when he opened the door and looked outside. His father ran back into the house, hid Jethro in a closet and ran upstairs to go find Jethro’s mother and sister Kyla. Jethro could hear men running up the stairs and heard screaming from upstairs shortly afterwards. When everything was quiet, Jethro came out of the closet and saw that the mercenaries set the house on fire. He ran upstairs and found his parents, dead. They were brutally executed against the wall of their bedroom, but there was no sign of his sister. He barely got out of the house alive before he blacked out. A friend of his father, the leading officer military outpost on Naboo named Raen Travker found him in front of the house and took him to his military outpost on Naboo, where he trained him as a soldier until the age of 18. When he was 18, Jethro was send on a mission together with another soldier to investigate a mercenary sighting on Naboo. The mercenary trail lead to a dead end, since they left Naboo using a shuttle. Disappointed, they returned to the outpost and reported that the mercenaries left Naboo. That same night, Jethro overheard a transmission between Raen and another soldier on Naboo. Apparently, the farmer who originally spotted the mercenaries, saw them again and found out where they are hiding. Not waiting for Raen to take action, Jethro set out to get revenge on the mercenaries and went to the abandoned warehouse which was now used as an illegal weapon deposit. He managed to kill all of the mercenaries he found there. All of them, but one. The last mercenary was wearing a cloak, but Jethro recognised her voice. It was his sister Kyla. When Jethro told her he was her brother, she became angry and started fighting him. (The mercenaries told Kyla that the rebels killed her family and that everything they said were lies.) After a long heated battle, Jethro finally disarmed Kyla, but accidentally wounded her fatally in the process. She fell down on the ground, and died shortly after Jethro convinced her that he was her brother. Jethro was crying with Kyla in his arms, and was completely besides himself. When he touched her wound with his hand, something strange happened. A blinding green light came out of his hand, lit up the entire warehouse. The light was visible for miles, attracting the attention of those in the area. When the light stopped glowing and Jethro was able to see again, he looked down to see Kyla looking at him with disbelief. Before he could say anything, he blacked out. Jethro woke up in a medical facility in Theed, and was greeted by a Jedi Master who brought him there after picking him up from the warehouse. Kyla told the Jedi master about what happened in the warehouse and the Jedi master wanted to speak with Jethro. as a result. Apparently, the Jedi Master was Luke Skywalker himself, and wanted to offer the siblings to become Jedi. After accepting the offer, Jethro and Kyla were brought to a jedi academy where he was trained by master Skywalker. When he finally ascended to the rank of jedi knight, he started training his sister, Kyla. Jethro is extremely skilled in healing and shielding his own mind.

His knowledge of the force differs from the Jedi or the Sith view of it, and his grasp of it, if developed and refined, could prove a valuable asset to the Republic or the Remnant.

Bio (Optional): Ryan was actually born in Tatooine, but his parents were lucky and traveled to Naboo when Ryan was a baby. Ryan's parents weren't poor nor rich, so Ryan had a simple, happy childhood. He really like to go to the forest and explore it. Ryan knew the forest so he usually climbed trees and jumped from one to another, in case he had found a big beast. When Ryan turned 14, some months later, Jedis arrived at Naboo, to seek new Padawans. Ryan wasn't in the middle of the Naboo formely Padawans so he presentend himself to a master, right in the middle of the selection. The master Corran Horn asked his name, which Ryan politeley awnsered. Corran said that the Force was strong in him, and he wanted to take him to the academy and train him. Ryan's parents said that if Ryan really wanted to go, he could go. Ryan acepted Master's Corran Horn's invitation. In the next day after all the goodbyes, Ryan left to the academy, where Master Corran Horn trained him personaly. Now Ryan is 17 and he is a good padawan, he's almost ready to face the trials, but he needs to wait a little until he's 18, were he will be more mature, his master does'nt want him to get arrogat, that might make him turn to the darkside.

Bio: John Ranger was a simple traveller. He was also an orphan because his perants were killed by pirates. During his travells he came cross a lost planet which, apart from a temple, was completely covered by forrests. John ventured into the temple and learnt of a civil war between to groups of aliens. The Goa'uld and the Tok'ra. They are snake-like creatures that enter a human body and is able to take controll. The Goa'uld were the evil race, which tried to take humans as hosts against they're will. Tok'ra were the good race which only entered volintary hosts and did several things different.
John then opened a tomb door to find the last ever Tok'ra who hid in an advanced containing while their enemies were betrayed by another race from a different planet which resulted in the whole planets surface turning into mere rubble however over time it slowl regrew into a forrest worl.
John allowed the Tok'ra to blend with him. John later learnt the Tok'ra was named Isis, was infact a female and wished that he stayed inside John so she was stay alive, in return she would guide him through verious situations and heal his body whenever nessiary.

Bio (Optional): Kathryn Maria Bryant was born on Coruscant and grew up there. The majority of her family was very wealthy and Kat was very spoiled. When Kat was ten, her parents got in the way during a bank robbery and were killed. From that time forward, Kat went to live with her aunt and uncle. There, she learned things about her mother's side of the family that her parents never would have told her.
"We are special," her aunt told her. "An ancestor of long ago is said to have had Jedi-like powers without any Force sensitivity." This ancestor was Crystal Gray. Throughout history after her life, some of her descendants had similar powers, though none quite so strong as she had been.
"I think you are one of us," Kat's aunt told her. Slowly, Aunt Kara reached out her hand and, as if by magic, a glass on the other side of the room lifted from its resting place and came to her. "There will come a day when you can do this also. For this reason, I have a gift for you... when you are older."
As Kat grew, the abilities Kara Venn had promised began to surface. At first, she couldn't control her telekinetic abilities, but Kara helped her learn to control them Finally, when Kat turned eighteen, Kara took her to a hidden hangar below their apartment building. There, she introduced Kathryn to the Eagle's Wing. Thanks to many years of determined owners, Crystal Gray's old ship was as good or better than modern ships of its kind. It was Eagle that first nicknamed Kathryn 'Kat' and the nickname stuck.
"You have some of Crystal's power," Eagle told her. "And so, if you are willing, you can take on her lifestyle." He explained the lifestyle and Kat agreed. Eagle and Kat left Corsucant that day and they haven't been back since.

That's exactly what I wanted to hear. No offense, but the Death Glider was one major godmodd in Sith Lord, and godmodding of any sort will not be tolerated in this RP. And do watch what you're doing with the healing thing Isis does...that could potentially start more trouble...:xp:

Thrawn's tactical genius is well preserved in this clone and he has become one of the top military commanders thanks to it, the knowledge of his existence is shared by only a few high ranking New Republic officials, including Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and his wife Mara Jade Skywalker. He is responsible for the most covert and precise operations that vary in type from recon, infiltration and assassination to major battles.
Btw, FFWM12, you should know that at the time this RPG is occuring there is a peace treaty between the Imperial Remnant and the New Republic.

Biography: Extremely little is known about Amol's life. His choice weapon - a silver lightsaber - suggests past involvment with the Jedi Order, though when asked about his past, he refuses to answer. Hey you were the one who made it godmoddable. I was happy with it being like any normal fighter. And don't worry about the healing thing FFWM12, it's sorta like force heal as it the healing processe needs time to complete and i can only hear flesh wounds and perhabs a few broken bones,ect.

That's cool, though my suggestion is that at some point of the RPG it turns out to be a renegade faction of the Imperials, I think that might be a way to fit the story into canon.

Since the Empire Remnant and the New Republic have basically wiped out the major pirate organisations, the Novamere Resistance is a small group. They still have ties to the Lok Revanants, privateer protectors of Naboo, but they don’t always see eye to eye on the issue of personal gain.
Va’ala doesn’t talk much about her past, or her family, but it is known that she is from Naboo and left home at a very early age.

Bio (Optional): At the age of 12, Arthas had to raise himself because of the loss of his parents. They had a debt to the Black Sun they could not pay. He mostly kept to himself until he had enought money to buy his own ship and fly off planet. He soon had entanglements with the Galactic Empire. They destroyed his ship, sent him to prison, and and tortured him because he attacked and killed many troopers, blew up a base on Naboo, and carried Rebel Troops onboard his craft. He suffered many years of torment and pain. And even after his sentence was up, they did not let him go free. He was soon rescued by Rebels because of his assistance years earlier. He found the galaxy changed. The Jedi soon caught up to him and took him to the Academy on Yavin IV. After many months of training, he requested to leave on personal reasons. They let him go. He soon got a new ship, got a job as a smuggler, and let his life go on. After all of this, he has always felt something: lost.

Bio: Krell was born and raised on Corellia, he watched as Han Solo, and the other 'hero's of the republic' fought to take back the republic from the empire, he watching the forming of new republic as a child. When he was fifteen he stowed away in the cargo compartment of a freighter headed for Coruscant, to seek fame and fortune. But the ship was hijacked by pirates, and soon Krell found himself facing death. But krell is a fast thinker, and talked his way out of death and into a job scrubbing the toilets on the pirate ship. Since then he has worked various trades in a pirate crew, and worked his way up to second in commaned of The Reiver under (and sometimes on top of) Va’ala Klint. His past both before and during his time as a pirate is pretty much unknown to both crew and others on the ship.

Bio (Optional)/Appearence: After being born on Felusia, his mother died shortly after, due to uncontrolable cercumstances. His father, one of the few surviving Royal Guard to the Emporer, raised him on Felusia, finding it a perfect place to train his child in the combat skills of the Royal Guard. He eventually grew up, and gained the well known Royal Guard armor for himself, but coloured it black, and added golden embroidering. He's well built, and is a forboding figure standing 7 feet tall, much taller than the average man. He had also been trained in the Echani combat skills, thus adding to his already imposing combat skills.
He soon found himself inlisted in the Empire quickly climbing the ranks to Captain. Now in the latter years, he is a Fleet Commander of 10 vessels. But in his rescent knowledge of the Sith, who he never agreed with, he Disbanded from the Imperial Remnant, taking any who would follow him, and their families. Finding neutral space, he settled his mens' families down on worlds willing to take them. Now he takes his fleet, known as the Disbanded, and patrols in unspecified areas, doing what he must to keep his men, and himself combat ready, considering the Sith or Imperial Remnant dont like the fact he took 10 ships from the fleet.

IF my calculations are correct this is happening fifteen years after the events in the Hand of Thrawn books, fifteen years after the peace treaty between the Imperials and the Republic was signed.
So it's closer to my guess of 20 aby.
And yes i know that Kira has no care for cannon, but I do ... I'm willing to give her small things, but an entierely different government system? Anyway I really think this happens prior to the war with the yuuhzan vong, cuz it just doens't fit into the storyline unless it's like 20 years after the yuuzhan vong war ... I really wish Kate would give us a definitive answer though.

This was when he was hired by the Republic Intelligence Agency, and was involved in top secret research into advancing military technology - particularly shielding and stealth technologies. After a year, his service record reaches level 9 - accessible only to the highest officials in the Republic. Two years later, he re-surfaces as a freelance mercenary and vigilante, wanted by the Republic on multiple charges varying in severity. It is also reasonable to assume that the Republic Intelligence Agency is also after him.
