where do i find the item tga files in KotOR Tool for K1?

First of all welcome to the forums, and about your question you should be able to find the things you are looking for in kotor tool like this:
ERF's>TexturePacks>
swpc_tex_gui.erf
swpc_tex_tpa.erf
swpc_tex_tpb.erf
swpc_tex_tpc.erf

Hope this was what you were looking for good luck!:D

P.S.:This is the way K2 looks in kotor tool but I am assuming it's the same for K1!

Yep they use the exact same erf files for K1 and K2.
