Yeah, I pretty much go with Sierra Mist.

But I'm not opposed to drinking Sprite or 7UP if that is what is offered. Don't bite the hand that offers you drinks, right? :D

"7-Up Yours" was my personal fav :D

and also gets my vote in the poll. It's 'all natural' now and has a pretty distinctive flavor than what it once had :drool1:

I no longer drink soda like I used to... I would go into why but it is too harsh to mention here.

But when I did, I would pick 7-Up. Though I was a hardcore Mountain Dew fan myself. ;)

They probably don't have it in Britain. Like they don't have Dr. Pepper, Mr. Pibb or other sodas in Australia. Crazy stuff. Maybe in special imorts or novelty shops though.
We had Dr. Pepper here (Australia) up 'till about 2 years ago. People didn't like it enough so they stoped importing it. I love it though, There's a specialty shop in Melbourne where we buy it from in crates. It's great!
What's Mr. Pibb?
I'm a hardcore mountain dew fan myself. but out of the options I'll go for.... 7 UP. And I think Mountain Dew is more of a sugar drink than anything else...

Mountain Dew is a sugar drink lol. But Chase, is Dew really citrus? I'll have to try some again, because I do not remember tasting any citrus.

Out of all the "pop" out there, Mountain Dew has the most sugar out of all the pops.

There, some more pointless crap that you didn't want to know. :p

You guys would have a field day discussing pop with me and my brother-in-law. He and I sometimes have long talks about pop, like on long road trips and such, and compare them and the likes. We even talk about which is better: plastic bottle (2 liter and/or 20oz.), glass bottle, and can. Just crazy sh** like that. Many times this type of conversation annoys the crap out of my sister. :)
That is truly insane chase :cowdance

And about the Dr. Pepper and Mr. Pibb... I really don't have the taste for either of them, I think they're disgusting. :toilet1:

Lately I've been drinking some Royal Crown. Damn that's some kick @$$ stuff.
Is that similar to Crown Royal? ;) (j/k)

Lemon-Lime Bitters is yummy, but in itself isn't quite the kicker that Crown is (the 'bitters' are more "aromatic" than anything...)..

However, because "Charlies", a Yankee term for Lemon/Lime Bitter.. hehehe, taste so good.. it can be dangerous, depending if you use vodka or gin substitutes.

You'll down several of them before you know it and then you wonder why you're staring at the ceiling when you try to get up from your seat :xp:

http://www.angosturabitters.com/llb.htm)

Given the choice though.. I prefer Crown and Coke any day :D

A good ol boy such as yourself don't enjoy the classic Jack and Coke?

Me I'm all for 151 & Coke, or at home Bacardi Limon & Mt. Dew. Doesn't matter the ratio because it tastes like dew.

I'm one of those "uppity" rednecks :laugh6:

If I'm drinkin' Jack, it's straight-up.. * rebel yell * woooooooo... hehehe..

Well, to try to salvage as much topic I can, anyone remember (or can still find) Upper 10? I remember it well living in Michigan, but moving here to Tennessee.. I think I've seen it maybe once or twice... that was a good alternative for Lemon-Lime drinks. Just wish I could still find it :(

Exactly, 1 soda can each day translates in 15 extra pounds at the end of the year. Not to mention that the average soda contains 9 table spoons of sugar. o_O

Add to this if you abuse soda... meaning if you drink around 1 to 2 liters a day or more, some rather... uncomfortable... health problems can and will occur.

Why not just advertise them with hyperlinks in your sig? It would save this thread from getting off the topic of Lemon-lime beverages.

Back on topic...

Wow, Royal Crown. Huh, I assume you're old enough to legally drink it, St. Jimmy? Heh, I'm not.

Anyone every had L&P? Easily the best soda in the world IMHO.
