The last thread I made on the Time War was lame. I admit that. This one, however, actually has some planning behind it. I also know a great deal more about the Time War, unlike when I attempted this last time.

The term Time War can be applied to at least two types of time-spanning conflicts in the Doctor Who universe. The first type of time war is where the two sides are fighting the war across different points in history, separated by centuries or even millennia. The second type of time war is where Time itself is used as a weapon, with pre-emptive strikes, time loops, temporal paradoxes and the reversal of historical events. This Time War is the latter type.

The two sides in the Last Great Time War, the Time War that this story takes place during, was fought between the Time Lords of Gallifrey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_Lords) and the Dalek Empire (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daleks). Initial clashes included the Dalek attempt to infiltrate the High Council of the Time Lords with duplicates (Resurrection of the Daleks, 1984), and the open declaration of hostilities by one of the Dalek Puppet Emperors (Davros in Remembrance of the Daleks, 1988); although the Daleks claimed that these were merely in retaliation for the Time Lords' sending of the Doctor back in time to change Dalek history in Genesis of the Daleks.

Two specific events have been stated to have led to the Last Great Time War. The first was an attempted Dalek-Time Lord peace treaty initiated by President Romana under the Act of Master Restitution (a possible reference to the otherwise unexplained trial of the Master on Skaro at the beginning of the Doctor Who television movie, 1996).
The second was the Etra Prime Incident (The Apocalypse Element), which some say "began the escalation of events."

the timelines of lesser races and planets shifted without the inhabitants of the worlds affected being aware of the changes in history, as they were a part of them (presumably including humans). "Higher Species" who were able to notice the changes included the Forest of Cheem, who were distraught at the bloodshed; the Nestene Consciousness, which lost all its planets and further mutated; the Greater Animus, which died; and the Eternals, who apparently fled this reality in despair, never to be seen again.

I need characters from the good side only. No Daleks. Sorry, that's just the way things are. You can be a Jedi, a Smuggler, or anything else you want to be. Time Lords are allowed, but I request that only people with knowledge of Doctor Who and the Time Lords create a Time Lord character. Also, no more than two people other than myself may play as a Time Lord - just to keep things running smoothly.

The story will take place in the time of the Old Republic, since I know next to nothing about the post-Galactic Empire galaxy. More specifically, it will take place three years before the Mandalorian Wars. Basic RPing rules and character sheets apply.

Biography: When John was young his older sister left home to train as a jedi. He was only 6 at the time and she was 10. Although his sister was extremely gifted with the force, John didn't appear to have any signs of force what so ever. When she left John faced neglet from both of his perants. Causing his hate his home. He was also facinated by ships and dreamed of becoming a traveller however his dream faded away when he began doing a money collecting job for a selfish Hutt. Fortantally, John's clients alwase had the money so he never had to get his hands dirty.

The dream of travelling returned to his mind when he was 29. He had just been fired and had a price on his head. John came up with a plan to steal a ship from the Hutt and use to destroy his palace. John carried out his plan and stole an allready stolen feighter,He named the Regnar and used the missile system in it to blow the Palace to the grounds. Now with the Hutt gone, no more bounty... or that's what he thought. The Hutts brother, Gabbra, higher the bounty and John used the ship he stole to start travelling and hiding.

Only recently, after he got news of Gabbra's death and the drop of the bounty, has he recently come out of hiding.

Steven, the Time War has not begun in this galaxy yet. The Daleks haven't arrived here. My plan is to start the RP at the beginning of the Time War (as far as the Star Wars galaxy is concerned, anyway). Please edit your post accordingly.

Armor: Incredibly strong, energy resistant alloy known as KOTOR, which was created by the entity known as Eraw Oib.

Skills: Utilizes a time diplacement field to move at seemingly impossible speeds. Capable of riding the timestream in the wake of a TARDIS.
Ship: The "Dainty Lady" Once a one man space racer, heavily modified into a top-of-the-line assault craft.
Appearance: 6"2' Humanoid with dark blue armor and angular features. Similar to the HK series of droids, but has no descernible back or front, with the exception of it's head.
BIO: Created by a female timelord as part of a secret experiment into AI. Rictus Bane quickly grew bored in its confinement in a computer and Emailed itself to a droid foundry to begin a new life. Once a therapist for the Noig, decided to find a more peaceful life and became a vigilante. (Credited with the obliteration of 67 evil empires to date.)

Armor: Light, cobbled-together Mandalorian armor, with spider silk vest surrounding his chest.
Weapons: Rodian death blade, force pike, two small Republic blasters.
Skills: An excellent tracker, Tmelas can sense his prey anywhere, whether by a sense of smell, or hearing.
Ship: Kintan Star, unknown origin.
Appearance: Green, scaly face with small facial horns surrounding the eyes and the chin. He also has long climbing claws on his hands, which can also be used in combat.
BIO: A "green Nikto", or Kadas'sa'Nikto, Tmelas is a former Morgukai warrior, and now a roving assassin and bounty hunter. Having left his homeworld very early in life, he prefers to stay in the sector around Corellia, and most often takes bounties from the Hutt crimelords on those many worlds. Not much else is known about him.

Biography: Growing up on Coruscant Mockmane was a mischievous boy destined to be a smuggler, he was small and was quick, he would go through the back allies to the food plaza and take as much food as he could without being conspicous. Mockmane did not have a family, he was left out in the streets as a little boy of age 7, he didnt really know who is parents were but the only way to survive was to steal food and clothes. He loved playing hide and seek with kids on the streets, he would always win because he knew the best places to hide. As he got older he saw a poster for the Republic Military. He soon signed up and was sent to bootcamp. Surpassing his fellow trainees in the shooting range, reconning and many other types he finished at the top of his class and was a leader but he felt that it was not his place. After going through bootcamp he had a selection of being a specialist and the job of one specialist was to spy, he knew what he was good at and spying was that thing. Mockmane was trained by the best in techniques in data collecting and the art of invisibility. After multiple missions Mockmane went awol for unknown reasons and left the military, he now smuggles goods and is causing much havoc to the republic
