You have to remember that we can already play against the Acklay, but they defiantely aren't fun lol.

like celeb dm, but with the bigs who have rancors, wampas, gamoreans, aacalays and other uglies vs the smalls who have jawas, ewoks, geonosians, tuskans, wookies and other pests
or just a big match with big monsters
Sounds... chaotic. I usually prefer fighting against monsters, trying to avoid being mauled/trampled/gored/digested/all that good stuff. But the chance to cause random destruction as the monster is good fun as well.

What about Padme'? I think the Bf2 producers really missed something when they didn't add Padme'. If they did have padme they should have had a geonosis arena battle.

already did that (kind of) on playstation 1. star wars demolition i think it was called. i never knew an At-ST could run like that...

LOL. derfinetly. me and a frine (gasp!) went back on the good ol' ps1 a few weeks back. how the hell did we think they were good graphics back then? tried going through the 2 player tournament as bobba fett and the rancor.. it still hurts....
or maybe they could have a make your own hero mod. They would give you thousands of templates from real and fake charecters.
a sort of "mix and match" type kit. i'd have the body of a rancor, the head of....

Red Guards? Yeah, though they would have been better as the Empire's commander class rather than the mediocre Imp Officer. :dozey:
How about the geonesians or utapatians. Not as hero's but as playable units in genaral.
I'd like to see red guards (among other things) as sort of a "elite class" Available on limited maps, these units are limited in number (like officers) and have to be unlocked but are typically better then your standard unit.
Red Guards could have assassin pistols, those force pikes and maybe a toned down force choke secondary ability...
Also red guards could have spears (or w/e they are called) as they do in the books and i think in the movies.

Well to be fair we never did see how they actually fought. Their weapons did look kind of old but that pitchfork/laser gun weapon looked cool. Not sure how effective the sheild would be though... Didn't they have a kind of starfighter as well?
in the ROTS book, obi-wan tells them to ready the warriors for the battle with the droids, but it doesnt say how they fight. i just guess that due to the physical appearance of them, it would surely effect their fighting ability

Padme and lando are great ideas for bf2. I now wonder why they didn't add padme' as one of the heroes for the game. . Maybe there thinking of putting her in a bf3?
