If you read the legend you will see "Class : Victory"

It is an Imperial Star Destroyer, but it's of the Victory class, not the Imperator class. ;)

The Executor Class is way too short though. Should be atleast 17.6 km (alternatively 19 km).

Also, the AT-AT on that site is 7 meters too short in height.

The 12km is what I used to know too... it has always been 12km. No clue where the 17km came up you're all talking about. I guess someone once messed up 12km with 12miles and that's where the difference comes from.

And the other picture doesn't look as it it was an AT-ST at all... the whole shape is different. Looks like a smaller brother ;)

Actually it looks like a bigger brother. It has larger forward firing cannons, and an extra view port above the main ones, maybe for a spotter.

When in doubt, check starwars.com, they have tech sheets on all things starwars. Like Duece says, "Thats one big b@tch."

But as walpurgisng said, Star Wars Databank is most right, and if it says 19 Kilometers, it is 19 kilometers.

Obviously this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the force...we'll have to do it using... lightsabers.

Also, for anyone that doesnt know what SSDD is: it is a saying from Stephen Kings' Dreamcatcher and, thus, means Same Sh@t Different Day.

I just realized something, someone drew those schematics...holy poohjew. Maybe that guy will draw me a schematic for my Buick Regal 2000 so I can figure out my wiring problem and play EAW more.

SSDD is also in Tom Clancy's Book Bear and The Dragon in which Sieraa Square Delta Square also stands for Same Sh@t Different Day.

lol, first of all, the Executor was first listed as 8000 meters long (West End Games' mistake, repeated on StarWars.com). Then it was changed to 8000 miles, which equals 12.800 meters (StarWars.com's mistake). Now they've done some more propper measurements of the model used in the movies and have landed on 19.000 meters. But I fear they've done a small oversight in not taking into account that the bridge tower on star destroyers built by Kuat since the Imperator came out has the same measurements on all later models. Once you know that, and the executor models lenght and tower measurements, it's easy to calculate its size.

So in closing, when in doubt, by all means check StarWars.com (http://www.starwars.com), but then cross referance that with Star Wars Technical Commentaries (http://www.theforce.net/swtc). ;)

So excuse me if I don't put my full trust in everything that is said on StarWars.com. :p
