Erm...droideka fix? like anyone uses those.

What about the collisions problem with mortars, nades, snipers.

What about the engineer that has super hero 1 shot kill, can walk on mines, can heal himself etc. etc. He isnt toned down?

This patch is a huge dissapointment.

Region Free? Region Free is a must for a comp... cause Regions are stupid things invented by evil corperate slugheads :3

Ok, seems like we don't get the maps(don care buch about the heros) well, guess we have to wait for the mod tools to be out.

THEN, Hmmm... so someone should do some "conversion work" from the xbox files.

I forget, this isn't the one with the heroes and Maps right? and WTF is the difference between International and Domestic versions?
 arkodeon

The Domestic version is the 'Region Code' for the United States and Canada, and all other countries that it is applicable to.

Therefore, if you have the United States' version, you may not use the International Patch to patch the game. :\ Confusing.

you idiots who think maps and extra units are comming with this, THEY ARENT SO QUIT WHINING!

What ya mean? It says "Support for new maps". Do you mean they are saying support for mods? I thought they were going to convert some of old favorite SWBF maps?!?!? I don't care about new heros, but was looking foward to playing the Bespin maps again!

Might as well start one of these. Mods, please merge any relevant discussions into here.

Basically discuss your thoughts, problems, etc. about the newly released patch. Don't bog it down please with demands for a port of the Xbox content or flame wars, just useful information and observations, bug reports, etc.

Thanks!

No need to flame. I am pretty sure there are new levels included with the patch.

There is NO bonus content in the patch. The Xbox Expansion was always only for the Xbox, just like they announced beforehand. No announcements have been made for any new content for the PC version as of yet...

"Support for new maps" means just that... that when mod tools are released and you create new maps, the game will be able to recognize them. No new maps have yet been released though.

There are two patches officially (both are hosted on the official site LucasArts.com, as well as our fan file site LucasFiles.com). One is for domestic (US) and the other for international (the rest of the world).

The engineer:

One shot kill from a good range, quick fire and basically just look in the general direction to aim. Also, the lower the ping the stronger the engineer, low ping people are able to shoot from much further away.

Can heal himself

Can replenish ammo

Can repair droids (so can ALWAYS heal and get ammo) and vehicles

Can eject people from vehicles

Can walk over mines

Can get rid of mines

Has a mine (detpack) that he can set off when *he* wants

Has nades (detpacks) that he can set to go off when *he* wants

Fix this guy please! He is meant to be support but while he is blatently Superman he will run around spoiling the game, turning into a game of who has the lowest ping.

This patch is a huge dissapointment.

The engeneer can only have 1 shot kill at close range and they can walk on mines to deactivate it with theri fusion cutter.

Anyway, if the levels were a bit better and units weren't so rubbish, the engineer wouldn't be half as good. I mean, never thought you'd have to lead a target with a machine gun!

:edeaths: :edeaths: :edeaths: When I downloaded the patch, it caused more problems than it solved. For instance, I was trying to play Galactic Conquest, but each time I tried, it crashed back to Windows. It also did this wierd thing to my starfighter controls, which messed that up too.

Edit: Sorry bout the double-post, my computer was lagging something terrible that day.

Danny, delete that 1st post. Alot of people have had problems with SWBF patches, my advice is just go back to the unpatched version.

Can you play on a Version 1.0 server if you have installed the 1.1 patch without reinstalling the game to remove the 1.1 patch? Thanks.
