Need something to tie you over until the retail version hits store shelves? This program will allow you to create custom sountracks for the demo.

Download it at filefront:
http://files.filefront.com/EAWD_Soundtrack_Editorzip/;4759395;;/fileinfo.html)

I'll start working on a new version for the full retail game once it comes out. This tool is basic, but it's a lot of fun to mess around with.

Please post any questions/commments here. All development discussions, such as discussions about bugs or new features, should take place in the Soundtrack Editor Development thread:

Sorry to hear that. All I can say is to make sure you grab your windows updates. At least the soundtrack editor is a nice and small download though.

Ouch, where did you download the .net installer from?
Was it at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&DisplayLang=en) ?

What version of Windows are you running?

Try cleaning out your temporary internet files if you're downloading the .net installer with internet explorer.

Also, try going to start -> run and type "%temp%" in the dialog box without the quotes and click ok. This will open up your temp files directory. Once there, locate IXP000.TMP and select it. While IXP000.TMP is selected, hold down the shift key and press delete. A dialog box will pop up asking if you are sure you wish to delete IXP000.TMP. When it does, click yes. After doing this try running the .net installer program again.

Yeah, the SDK is a software development kit that includes a bunch of stuff that you probably don't need. I'll be suprised if the sdk actually includes the .net framework installer.

I'm glad you like the program.
