(OCC: I know of a good place to get all the information you would need on the Yuuzhan Vong.)
(OOC: Where at? I don't know if I can spare enough cash to buy all 20 or so books!)
Wikipedia has some okay stuff..I'm not really into the Yuuzhan Vong that much..
*Roarboar and Zaalbacca look puzzled as they look for Master Zaroke*
(hes invisible)
Hello you two, lets see if you can hit me with your viroblades, but first, the blindfolds"
*puts blind folds on Zaalbacca and Roarboar*
alright lets go, lets see if you can do this,
(not in story, dont have them hit me in first try, thats just too easy)
Yuzhan Vong take place like at least 15 years post-ROTJ.
(OOC: Where at? I don't know if I can spare enough cash to buy all 20 or so books!)
Wikipedia is the place I went to learn all about the Yuuzhan Vong. It has pictures of what they look like, info of their war with the New Republic (called the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances), and all about their ships and technology. Wikipedia is a great place to learn about Star Wars.
((The Truce at Bakura...never heard of it. So now I'll have to read another book...and yeah, I've never learned anything of the Yuuzhan Vong either, so...hmmm))
With great difficulty and many tries(hitting each other somitimes) they hit Master Zaroke on the 30th try. "Are we almost done?" complained Roarboar. "Not yet." said Zaalbacca.
Kent was growing angrier by the minute.
"The kids would be safer alone. On Coruscant. IN AN APARTMENT IN FRONT OF THE JEDI TEMPLE!"
((You mean Wash, I assume... :) or am I smoking something bad for my health?? :p ))
((I mean Kent about having the twins on Mustafar my last post, last Wash post:
Wash approached Tirya.
"I thought I'd find you here. What are you thinking about now?"))
"DO NOT COMPLAIN, I AM TEACHING YOU VERY USEFUL TECHNIQUES, this is why you grow weak fast, you will increase your stamina and you must be aware even when your tired"
*As they are weak and not paying attention, Master Zaroke appears behind them and sweeps their feet, sending them to the ground where he takes the two viroblades and holds them to their necks as they do nothing but watch him*
"This is what i mean, you must be aware at all times, i had no problem doing this"
"Go rest now, training is done for the day, you will learn this invisiblity technique tomowro, both of you go and get to bed we will start early and you will need all the energy you can get
"You're right, Kent," said the Exile, looking at Anor Kon with a subtle glare.
"Sir," she said, "young Threepwood is also a Sith, and if we retake the Jedi
temple and claim it as our own, I'd prefer to hide the infants only for a short
time and then raise them there. If not, and worse comes to worst, then I'm
afraid a bunker on the least-likely and most-dangerous planet the Jedi would
ever suspect will have to do." Now washed clean by Elron, she raised her head.
((Ah, my bad :) ))
Tirya did not turn as Wash spoke and did not answer immediately. Finally, she sighed.
"I was just thinking of my sister," she said quietly. Now, she turned to face Wash. "Do you remember Falya, Wash?" She sighed again. "She was so enthusiastic about everything... the Jedi, the galaxy... I can't help but wonder where she is now."
Master Asa went searching for the others who were to go on the mission, he found Tirya and Wash standing and talking. he approached them.
"Tirya, wash. We need to leave soon, be in the Hanger with in ten minutes. Also while on the mission keep an eye on Zarlak, he's overconfident he could be a liberty."
Asa then turned and went to the hanger.
(I assume you meant liability)
Jedi Temple, Before Asa arrived
"I'm sure she's fine." Said Wash. He sighed, he'd been away when the entire 'back from the dead' incident happened. A mission on Antos had gone awry and his master and him were stuck on the planet for over 18 months. When he came back he'd criticized the order's reaction to it so harshly he'd almost gotten expelled. Then Asa arrived. When he left, Wash spoke angrily.
"A liability. He's sending a child into the biggest cesspool of the dark side there is and he's worried he may be a liability. "
"The kid is headstrong," Tirya pointed out. "It sounds as if Asa might be regretting his decision to bring Zarlak along... but he's promised and therefore cannot back out."
She sighed. "And as for Falya, I'm not concerned for her health... it's just that she... well, she was angry with the Council when they would not let her come back. I'm just worried she's gone and joined the Sith impulsively."
-------------------------
Falya stared at Syscha in complete astonishment. "Are you really considering Mustafar?"
"I doubt she'd do that. She was killed by one, that doesn't make a person eager to join them either."
=======
"You can't be serious."
"Falya had her quirks..." Tirya said uncertainly. She sighed. "I just... I... oh, Wash..." she sighed. "I think that's why this is bothering me so much... I know Falya has joined the Sith... perhaps for love... perhaps out of respect. I dread a confrontation... and I'm beginning to be convinced there will be one."
Wash hugged Tirya
"She loves you. Even if she's joined she won't fight you."
"What if she's forced to?" Tirya worried.
"Then we'll find a way to stop them." Wash said.
Tirya squeezed Wash's hand and turned back to the window. "Thank you."
(The next day)
Wake up now Zaalbacca and Roarboar, we might be going on a mission, follow me, we will talk with Master Asa
"hello Master Asa, i see your loading up for a mission, do you mind if we tag along?" Since i am part of the Council, i feel as it is my duty to look after the other jedi"
"If so 2 Master Jedi will acompany me, Zaalbacca and Roarboar, they know all i know"
"Thank you, I owe you too many to count. "
Dxun
As Kent saw that Tysyacha and Elron were considering it, he shook his head.
"I don't believe this" he said in disgust, and stormed out of the room.
Falya was a little more persistent than Kent.
"Syscha?" she asked hesitantly. "Are you truly considering Mustafar?"
Elron looked grim. Could they truely do that? Did they absolutly have to?
"It...it may be necissary. The Jedi would never check there. Even if our children turn out to be Force sensetive...the Jedi would never be able to trace a single Force signature on that world of fire."
Falya looked at him, scandalized.
"I know...I do not wish to do so either, but I also do not wish for our children to be found by the Jedi. They will either be killed or converted, and I would rather have them on a dangerous world than in the hands of the Jedi. And yes...they would have to be split up. That way, their pressence will be harder to sense and the likelyness of them being found is less."
Falya blinked. Twice. Then, without another word, she left to find Kent.
"They don't understand..." Elron sighed angrily.
Tysyacha touched Elron's arm gently. "They would, if they were pregnant
and if they truly understood that the Jedi'd kill them if they ever got the
chance. I'm glad they don't. It keeps them strong, while the fear in me
keeps me weak." Startled by this realization, the Exile bowed her head.
"I'm scared for my babies, scared for myself, and most of all, scared
for you. What would I do without the one I love, murdered by Jedi?"
She always tried so hard not to cry, but this time, once again, she failed.
It always pained Elron to see Syscha cry. He touched her cheek, gently brushing away the tears.
"Don't worry, my love. They'll never be able to part us. I would die before that happens, and I doubt it would come to that.
Please, do not be afraid. Fear is a weakness. Whatever happens, whatever comes, we will overcome it, and we will do it together. I promise you. We are together, that is all that matters."
Zaalbacca and Roarboar waited for Master Asa's answer.
Falya found Kent pacing, fuming.
"They can't give the kids to that guy. It's a mistake. There's a lot more other planets they'll be safe on!"
Anor whom became quickly amused with the situation, let out a slight chuckle loud enough for everyone in the room to hear and as he ran a hand through his thick dark hair,"Maybe you should use the emotion you have now to release it on the Jeid and whoever stands in the way of the Sith, and I also mean Sion, but if you'd like i'll deal with him myself." Anor stared down torwards the Exile waiting for answer.
(in a sacrastic voice under his breath he makes a comment to zaalbacca)
is he def or something? *chuckles* i mean really *chuckles again*
"I agree," Falya said quietly. "They shouldn't immediately think of a planet so dangerous that their first thought is hesitation..."
"The kids will be safe from the jedi, but not from the planet. It's trading one danger for a greater one."
(in a sacrastic voice under his breath he tells Zaroke)
"I know."
The Exile suddenly nodded and thanked her Master for his kindness.
"Kent and Falya are right," she said firmly. "No Mustafar for my children.
Some other planet will do, far along the Outer Rim, but no less forbidden
to the Jedi Order. As for Darth Sion--" Her smirk glittered like arctic ice.
"Let him surprise the Jedi Knights, good sir, for we and our fleets of
soldiers will be right behind him!" She stood and turned slowly to Elron.
"What say you, my Master? Shall we storm the temple on Coruscant?"
"That depends, my apprentice. Do you feel you can fight?"
Syscha gave a defiant nod.
His grin matched his wife's. "Then let it burn!"
*Coughs* Hmm, Master Asa? Coruscant to Master Asa?
Zarlak layed back against one of the starfighters "Whats taking them so long?"
"Come on, we better get to the hangar." Said Wash, leading Tirya away from the window.
Tirya allowed herself to be led from the window and pulled her gloves on as they headed for the hangar.
"So what do we do with the kid that's tagging along?" Asked Wash as they walked
"I'd say we leave him alone," Tirya answered. "Unless he gets in our way, he's no problem of ours. I'm not even sure who his master is..." She frowned. "But I know neither of us are... so we'll leave it to other masters who decide to take him on. Let's just focus on the two of us... it's always been much simpler when we've done that."
"Oh, so for once we're actually taking the simple path?" He laughed. "I like that idea."
"Dark Side is easier than that," Tirya half joked. "Are you going to consider that too?"
She chuckled and shook her head. "The easier this is, the better."
((I was thinking... are the Sith going to arrive before the Jedi leave or are the Jedi going to leave and come back to find the battle going full force?))
((Well, I was assuming the going and coming back.))
"Are you kidding? After all the hard work I went through to pass the trials, HELL no!"
