hm, sorry for some of the caps in the title.

for some reason this damn forum won't even let me post a message longer than like 3 sentences. a shame really, and its really frustrating. the last time I try to spread news to this forum, I guarantee you guys that. the only reason i'm even continuing with this is because its already gotten me so frustrated so far, that I'm determined not to let it get the best of me. so I'm going to post my message in a couple seperate posts so this gawd dang thing works.

anyway in the latest issue of EGM (november issue, not on newstands yet), there is a 4-page article of Rogue Leader, features TONS of new information on the game.

but most noticeably, there are pics of 2 new levels: Asteroid Chase (Millenium Falcon scene from Empire Strikes Back) and the 2nd level in the game, a Yavin Escort level. they made it clear that this is the ONLY protection mission in the game. they said how people hate protection missions so they figured they'd get it over with early in the 2nd level. the mission is when you escort the rebels from Yavin (after the Death Star battle) to the new rebel base on Hoth.

now those are just 3 pics, and you guys wouldnt believe all the NEW INFO in this article. amazingly, the new information on this game is even more mouth-watering than the above 3 pics. there are also about a dozen more new never-before seen pictures of these 2 new levels, but I dont have time to post them all right now. i'll check back in like 10 to 15 minutes and, judging by the response and interest this new info creates, I'll post some more pics and maybe start typing out some of the article, or at least summarizing the new info.

like I was saying, thats just 3 pictures. I have the entire 4 page article, with WAY more pictures than that. in fact those 3 pics pasted up above is just the tip of the iceberg.

i would just post the whole thing on the web but like I said, EGM would be sending me threatening emails like the first guy who had these on the web.

but if there is enough response, I will keep posting up more mind blowing pics and more snippets of the article.

ask um, Redwing(?)'s brother, i sent him the 4-page article over AIM and he seemed to be just as blown away as me.

yeah that happened to me once too. stupid angelfire.

just try hitting Refresh once or twice, or clicking "save target as". or select the URL again and hit Enter. i have no idea why it does that, the files are there, like I said it happened to me before too. but when I showed them to Redwing's brother last night, he saw them both just fine.

but yeah, try right-clicking it and click "save target as" or just hit refresh. dont worry, it will show up. and when it does, it will be definitely worth the couple extra clicks.

i figured out what it is.

Angelfire doesnt like it when you link directly to a file on an Angelfire site from a different site.

so in other words, instead of clicking the links, just copy the URL, paste it into your browser manually, press enter, and VIOLA!

hehe. seriously, that "homepage" as you like to call it is the default page that's already there when you register for a free site at angelfire.com. i have not touched it, thats what you get when you register your account. i only use that site to host various pics/text files etc, but I have not touched the actual homepage at the route directory.
