Is there a way to use JA skins in JO? or do they work anyway?

JA models and skins don't work for JO, but JO ones work for JA. The only problem: JO models can't perform certain dual saber moves and taunts correctly due to weighting issues. Otherwise, they work just fine in JA.

Bummer. What about weapon skins or those also do not work in JO?

They don't work as-is, but you can edit them to do so. The problem is the way the assets are arranged in the pak file; change that to be compatible with JO and it's fixed.

You can convert JA skins to JO, but not models. You may need to edit the .skin file for the texture to turn any surfaces on or off. In JA, all this is done in the .skin file using the *off flag. To convert to JO, change these to "clear". Or you can use .surf files to do it. Have a look in the skinning thread to learn more about this...

No, I've already got a glowing name; I'm done spamming!

He asked a yes or no question, which I answered.
