plaese can some one help me install skins and mods ive been putting them here c;/luasarts/jedi knight jedi academy/gamedata/base :(

:mad: does any one now how to install skins in a detailed step by step way see ive been extracting them and placing them in c;/lucasarts/jedi knight jedi academy/gamedata/base:confused:

Make sure you unzip the downloaded file (should be a .zip file) first, then put the .pk3 file you get as a result in the base folder if it is a skin, map, or mini-mod.

If it is a true mod (xmod, JA Reloaded Mod, JA Plus mod, Movie Battles II mod) then the entire mod folder (xmod, reload, japlus, MBII) goes in the GameData folder.

Skins only work in Multiplayer, you launch MP (or in an MP game) go to the player model selection menu and choose the new skin you want and click apply.

Or you read the readme.txt ;) ^^

actually, skins work in SP as well. I've typed PLAYERMODEL Revan in the console and my character (of course) transformed magically into Revan. The same went for my other skins and models.

Darth lumerc, try creating only one thread for a question, or better yet, use the Search fuction. :roleyess:

The playermodel command requires that there's an NPC for the skin.
