...i'm pretty sure we're all aware of the constant refrences to Casablanca in Grim Fandango. The Blue Casket and The Blue Parrot, Chowchilla Charlie as the Peter Lorre character, the crooked cop in Manny's casino, and the similarities in structure of Cafe Calavera and Rick's Cafe.
Aside, from these, there are two other large, film-noir movie references in the game that I didn't pick up on untill now.
First off, in the movie Sunset Boulevard, the most famous line uttered is, "I am big. It's the pictures that got small."
Anyone remember this one?
Glottis: I'm too big.
Manny: You're not too big; the cars are just too small!
Not to mention there was an old film noir flick titled "The Petrified Forest".
