Howdy,new here,i was wondering if its possible to make the PC models NPC?you know like the starting PC models you get to pick in the game...i checked the model tutorial in the swoop garage site,but i'm a bit confused,since i never really modded NWN or KOTOR before,anyways,i would like to know if anyone can help me in switching a model,make it NPC,lets say for example make all sith soldier models into scoundrel/soldier/scout model....anyone can help on this?

Ok i think i figured a few things out,i downloaded both tools,the KOTOR tool,and the 2da viewer,i did'nt touch the kotor tool yet,but from what i understand,i must place the 2da file into the Override directory,but did'nt notice any changes,am i doing something wrong here?

Ah thanks for the help :D ok i think i figured something out with the KOTOR tool,i can extract the skins and models i think,i extracted the .mdl and .tga now its only a matter of replacing the files no?how would i do that?

All u need is Kotor Tool
With Kotor Tool u extract the
appearence.2da
head.2da
portraits.2da
first and look at them.
The PC Models/Figures are strange named labels in the appearence file.
P_Fem_*
P_Mal_* they start.
P --> Player
Fem = Female or Mal=Male
Next to this u read
sml,med,lrg sml = scoundrel med=scout lrg=soldier
when u follow the lines to the right u come to columns which labeld modela modelb and so on
modela = basemodel when u put the clothes away of the charakter
texa = the skinname to above
modelb/texc = basic clothing
model C and so on is increasing armor (light medium heavy and so on there are class4,5,6,7,8,9 and so the letters)
So no scroll up where P_MissionBB stands u see here also entries for modela and so on. All u need is to copy the scout (which one doenst really matter) entries for models/textures to the "Missions" entries.
But NPC don't have a "evil" texture so texevil let empty
That was the basic thing your mission's body looks a scout now with the head of the twilek Mission.
The portrait file and the head file is after this very selfexplaining.

Ah cool i figured it out,i can see the model,and the head,but how do i replace it with the starting clothing?i don't want to see the model with the underwear but the defualt clothing,how can i do that?
