Is there any way to have bots in Siege mode? I tried the cmd /addbot, but then all they do is jump up and down. I like siege mode a lot, but when I play online, it just lags like hell. It would be nice to have a few somewhat intelligent bots in siege, especially the destroyer map because when playing on line, it's very laggy.

The Open Jedi Project are working on adding bots to seige....

Hold on I'll get a link...

EDIT: This Thread (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=127975) should be of some help. ;)

The trouble is that the bots in Siege don't have routes.

I've made some custom routes for the three maps, but the bots can't win because they can't complete objectives.

RazorAce has made some progress on Korriban for OJP, the bots ALMOST get the end (can't smash the coffin yet).

Really looking promising!

Until then if you just want some rudimentary routes (so the bots aren't just jumping fools) try my server (Meatgrinder Redux). IP in signature below...

The bots shouldn't lag you unless you have a ton of them...

If you mean Siege lagging, well I had that same problem when I was stuck hosting on DSL. I couldn't hope to play with more than 6 people max, though I did host with 8 for awhile, it was laggy but always full (go figure).

Siege Desert was pretty much unplayable though.

Now that I have a rented server I can play Siege to my hearts content and boy is it fun! (except when people are dumb with the team switching and whine).

The bots don't really need to complete objectives; all I really want is to shoot them down in the space combat levels, really.

Well, at least OJP is making some progress in adding AI to siege.

For Asteroids/Destroyer they'll need to be able to pilot vehicles first off, and that will come eventually once Razor learns how to make them drive the AT-ST and Swoop, that's a good starting point.
