Does anyone know of any good freeware(i already searched, found nothing of good taste) or relatively inexpensive ones off the top of their head?

um i have the gold wave trial and it seems to
be a pretty good program it is also
mentiond on sites like
www.jedimoves.com)
when thay talk about giving costom voices to an
npc in the "how to" section of there web site
i dont know how much it costs but the trial
lasts up to about 40 days or somthing like that

Also when using this program you need to make sure you download the lame_enc.dll file and place it in the directory

C:\Program Files\GoldWave

so you can save the files as MP3s.

Yeh, GoldWave is my voice editing tool of choice too, its got an unbelievable number of features and isn't that hard to get the hang of. It's kind of like the Paint Shop Pro of sound editing programs!

I agree, Goldwave is awesome and very feature-friendly and has tons of them. I use it all the time for cleaning up sound clips, adjusting volume, pitch, etc and when needbe, make myself a Goa'uld:-D
