I know how to make a lightswitch but thing is I don't like the effects of a function_button. So two question:

1.) Is there anyway to make it so the function_button doesn't move when you bump into it?

If not . . .

2.) Can someone explain how to get function_useable to work with the two brushes, each with a different texture? Every tut I found was for a door and for some reason I'm not able to convert "door" to "light" I don't know.

any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks,

if you want a func_button then give it a lip of the thickness, as for the button, just connect it to the light with Ctrl + K

And if you choose the func_usable solution just be sure they both have the same target which must be the light's targetname. One of them has to bet set to start_off.
