i would of thought they would be in the same format as the prequels.

Ahh, well, I like the "Jedi vs. Dark side" one the best.

somehow the jedi vs darkside one looks tacky... the vader one is ok i guess, but i don't like the green one.
Personally, I prefer the Imperial one at the top. Nice and grey looking and capturing the feel of the trilogy. (not to mention the opening scene.
I like the 2nd one for a reason I believe makes some dislike it ...
... it ties it in to the new trilogy. Which includes my favorite of the 5 - AotC.

I wanted them to look like the other DVD episodes. Lets just say I like things to match.
I think that they are all super awesome. I am gonna have a tough time deciding on which one to get.

me too. keeps annoying me when they change the bond covers for new films so the spines don't fit into the set. :mad:
But i think you are forgetting that there is bound to be a trilogy dvd box set of the prequels released after Ep3. THen a special edition trilogy. Then an ultimate edition trilogy. THen an Xtreme edition Trilogy, then a "i'm the director and i've changed my mind and decided to add a song and dance number cut" trilogy dvd box set.
So i'm sure one of those will match.

To be honest, I don't really like any of them, but if I had to choose, I'd go for the Vader one, although it's very similar to the OT SE video box set case. Having AOTC Yoda on there is just stupid.

I like the last one the most, just because it really does capture the essance of the trilogy, Darth Vader on the outside, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader's duel on the inside. I would like the Jedi vs. Sith one, but that CG Yoda really does get on my nerves for the Original Trilogy...
