hey all, ok i have the lightning texture but how do i make the lightning actually act and loo like lightning in the game?????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????

i searched the forums for how to make lightning but there was nothing for how to make lightning in gtk radiant 1.4.

all i want is the lightning effect that is used above the flag in each base in the bonus_ctf ja map. plz help

effects like that are usually fx_runner entities. but im not sure with the ctf map. ill take a look at the bsp and report back soon

yep, make an fx_runner entity with "fxfile" "env/small_electricity2". then target it at an info_notnull to orientate the effect

what if i want the lightning effect to texture or fill a patch?
in this case the patch is a spike.
